This is a great 4k smart gaming monitor that can do streaming services as well as a cloud gaming services!

Great monitor with nice visuals. I like that it includes apps like YouTube and Spotify which I use a lot of.

It is an okay monitor. It is nice to have built in speakers and 4K, but I did not have a use for the smart TV features. It is a good monitor, but not outstanding in any way.

Everytime i turn this monitor on i'm astonished at how beautiful the picture quality is. The colors are very vibrant and 4K content is excellent. This monitor is worth every penny.

I upgraded to this monitor from a 1080p 144Hz one. It turned out to be quite disappointing. I doubt I'll be buying a Samsung monitor next time; I guess they make SSDs a lot better than monitors. The good part is that the picture looks very nice and that I didn't notice any defects like dead pixels. Also, it has an "Adaptive Picture" mode that uses a light sensor in your monitor, kind of like a phone does, to adjust the brightness and whatever else based on your conditions. I like that. As for the bad: - The most annoying thing is that when Freesync is active, there is a very noticeable latency present; it's very noticeable during gaming that the game lags behind my mouse inputs. This is despite setting the response time to "Extreme" (pff!), playing at 1080p as I've been playing before (I wanted 4K for office tasks, not for gaming, where I prefer the higher framerate over 4K), making sure HDR is off, and so on, keeping all my settings the same as with prior monitors. To even discover that disabling Freesync/G-Sync compatible mode would fix this, I had to find a forum thread on blurbusters about a related Samsung monitor. (Look up "Samsung g4 240 hz Monitor input lag problem". You can also find reddit threads discussing such issues.) But I paid for a monitor with FreeSync because I wanted to use that feature; I won't have it now. - The UI sucks. This monitor is "smart" only in the dystopian sense where it wants you to connect it to the internet so it can spy on you (not required, else I'd definitely return), but it's not smart in ways that would be helpful. My prior monitor automatically switched to an input that was active if there was only one input active. I rarely had to touch it! This monitor doesn't do that; you have to use the remote to switch between devices (this can take 5 button clicks), and it will give them very helpful labels like "PC" and "PC", with identical icons. Seriously? You can't show "HDMI1" and "DisplayPort" or something!? - However this monitor works, my laptop seems to reconnect to it every time it goes out of standby (like if I went away from it for 10 minutes), and that moves all my windows to the monitor screen every time. Not sure how much of a Windows problem this is, but it was not an issue with my last monitor. - Maybe once a week, I have to physically disconnect and reconnect a cable to get a device to see the monitor. This happened with several devices, both with HDMI and DisplayPort. A few weeks into using it, it refused to connect to my laptop at all through the HDMI2 port. I only got it to work by switching to using HDMI1. I hope something won't stop working altogether. This is ridiculous. - There are artifacts in the signal/picture where straight lines will flicker! (Mostly an issue with HDMI.) I don't know to what extent this is an issue with 4K just being demanding. My prior monitors were 1080p as I mentioned, so I don't have a good comparison here. Am I just supposed to pay more for a 4K monitor? Is this considered too cheap and getting what you paid for? I don't know, but it looks like people report similar issues online with more expensive Samsung monitors as well, so there you go. Hope your experience is better, whatever you end up buying.

Great picture. Good enough sound. Basically is a smart tv. Was easy to put together. A little annoying that the remote works on my Samsung TV. Frequently will mute or turn off my real tv when trying to onlyuse it on the monitor. I feel good about the purchase overall though.

Love this monitor! Had a 4K Samsung but with only 60hz refresh rate and no VRR. What a difference with this monitor, totally worth it!

Spectacular monitor, knew it looked great when I saw it but when it’s at home playing whatever you like, it truly enhances the experience. It’s smooth, has so many features like the awesome lighting and fast hardware. Would absolutely buy again.

The Finnikiness of the game mode swapping when loading games is a bit tedious, however that’s my only complaint so far. The set up was very easy, 120hz on my PS5 and 144hz on my PC feels amazing. (First time experiencing anything over 60hz)

I would give this monitor a 5 out of 5 if i wouldn't have to return it because it has a line running through it now. But picture quality amazing definitely took gaming, videos, movies and streaming in general to the next level. Will prolly return it and purchase the same monitor. Ive had this monitor for a little under a yr and the screen is giving me this issue fyi.

I upgraded from a 1080p 240 hz samsung monitor to this 4k 144hz monitor to use on my xbox one. I can definitely see the difference in graphics and the xbox only allows for 120fps max so this one uses your xbox’s capibilities to its fullest potential. Very pleased with my purchase and would 100% recommend the upgrade.

Love this monitor. I got mine reburbished so mileage may vary. Having the smart tv functionality is pretty cool. Make sure to update the firmware though. I thought that the DP output didn’t work until I realized it just needed a firmware update.

Had this for a few days, so far I'm inlove, so far its the best monitor ive own, it has really good speakers like it goes so loud! Last monitor wasnt very loud. The core lights on it is super cool too, overall, its a good monitor. Just 1 thing, for some odd reason 1 button on the remote isnt working anymore? Press, press and hold, and it just does nothing, all others work tho, but its fine since a similar button is on the actual monitor that works!

First time buying a 4k PC gaming monitor, and the results really astonished me in terms of playing some of my favorite games. The Samsung Odyssey G7 144 hz G-Synced monitor is an excellent upgrade from a 1080p or 1440p monitor.
