Really impressive picture overall, this is a great monitor

So why was there giant stacks of open box Samsung G7s at Best Buy? So, I needed a really cheap 28", 4k, 144Hz monitor and there they were. Best Buy was giving them away! Just what I needed. It does everything great... accept... These are Samsung "smart monitors". And that really sucks. Every time you start it up theses super annoying smart menus come up and there is no way to turn them off. So, this is probably one of the all-time highest returned monitors in the history of monitors - but, a huge bargain as an "open item" if you can grit your teeth and ignore the super annoying "smart monitor" menus.

its not a dell but its close to it! fps is good. not as crisp as the 1440 p dell but it does so work for it being my first 4k with at least 120 ht refresh rate

First time buying a 4k PC gaming monitor, and the results really astonished me in terms of playing some of my favorite games. The Samsung Odyssey G7 144 hz G-Synced monitor is an excellent upgrade from a 1080p or 1440p monitor.

Great high-definition monitor, has great color and is a vast improvement over my 10-year-old gaming monitor. My only complaint is that a computer monitor absolutely does not need "Smart" features.

Awesome unit, bought it for my son for x-mas since I had one. Was surprised to find out it now has a remote, speakers, and smart capabilities. Would definitely recommend for PS5 users.

Great monitor. It has a glitch that I can't figure out, though, which is probably just me not understanding how it works and how to fix it. The monitor will often not come on when I wake up my PC, and I have to do a hard reset for the monitor to communicate with the PC. My husband has the same monitor and PC and it does the same thing. I hate it. Aside from that, I love this monitor.

My only complaint is if you alt tab a game it often loses connection. But that may be something to do with my computer.

All in all a good purchase, I think what this monitor lacks is a higher refresh rate. The 144 is ok. I did not have any issues setting up the pictures or refresh rate. I do like how it's also like a smart TV in case if you want to watch TV instead of play on your computer. I would do five stars if the refresh rate was just a little better kind of like a 165 or something but I guess I would need to purchase one that said 165 or higher but imo 144 is kinda low for 4K quality

What a fantastic monitor! The 4K runs at 120 Hz and the HDR 400 is an OK choice with his TV but nevertheless, I would definitely recommend this to anyone that is trying to get into a good gaming monitor!

Hood monitor with great features and good quality. Unfortunately doesnt have hdmi 2.1 so its pretty much useless for console gaming.

I have had this monitor for about 6 months now and can confidently say that this is the best gaming monitor that I have owned. Definitely consider it for your next upgrade.

After using the monitor for a few days mainly for gaming, I noticed a slight but very noticeable mouse lag when it comes to movement. At first i thought it was just because I needed to adjust from 1080p 165mhz to 4k 144mhz. However, it became increasingly frustrating since accurate and immediate mouse movement is very important to me. It got a point where I was about to return this monitor. Fortunately I went to the monitor settings just to make sure I wasn't missing anything. And there it was - GAMING MODE. Once I turned it on, it was like night and day. My mouse movement is crisp and responsive again! So if anyone was or is having the same mouse lag issue, I hope this review helped you!

I bought this to match my ls28A monitor for my dual setup. Great picture and easy to use. Built in apps are a nice new feature as well. Makes a good current gen console monitor.

I used to own one of the 1st wave of G7 4k, it was great. Had to part ways with it but ended up buying another one. Unknown to me, it came with the smart monitor software junk on it. I didnt like it. At all. But good monitor overall. Wouldve given it 4 stars.

Love this Monitor! Works great still 2 years later.
