However, this thing suffers from not being able to find your pc, to not using the right refresh rate, to *not supporting* 4K. Definitely only get on a sale, but it’s good if you can handle its quirks.

Core lighting adds a wonderful external component to your games. The speakers are actually pretty decent when using it as a smart TV

My only complaint is that a computer monitor absolutely does not need "Smart" features.

I send my monitor in to get fixed and it is a nightmare. It gets fixed finally and I get it back in Octobor. 6 months later I have the same issue but now have to pay to get it fixed. How can sumsung have a product that breaks in the first year and the new “fixed” product can break in 6 months then say im out of luck. What a waste of money. Do not buy samsung!

So, I needed a really cheap 28", 4k, 144Hz monitor and there they were. Best Buy was giving them away! Just what I needed. It does everything great... accept... These are Samsung "smart monitors". And that really sucks. Every time you start it up theses super annoying smart menus come up and there is no way to turn them off. So, this is probably one of the all-time highest returned monitors in the history of monitors - but, a huge bargain as an "open item" if you can grit your teeth and ignore the super annoying "smart monitor" menus.

I had an LG and an ASUS, both of which i returned becsuse the display quality were terrible, despite having all settings tuned correctly. This monitor has great colors, amazing HDR, and just looks perfect. I use this with my Xbox Series X and i csnt get iver how great it looks. My only complaint about this monitor is thst it is quite difficult to get the settings adjusted correctly when using an Xbox. Took me over an hour to figure out why the whites were so imbalanced. And I couldn’t find anything on youtube to help. I would highly recommend this monitor for any gamer!
