I have issues on my Mac Mini M4

I've been experiencing numerous issues with my monitor paired with my Mac Mini M4. I specifically chose this monitor for my M4 for a high-quality 4K display. However, the monitor frequently flashes on and off. To address this, I had to purchase an ultra-high-speed HDMI 1.4 cable, as the supplied cable was insufficient.
Additionally, I've encountered problems with the HDMI ports. The monitor doesn't always work with the first port, and when my computer goes to sleep, the monitor sometimes won't turn back on. I have to unplug either the monitor or the Mac to resolve this, but the issue is less prevalent on HDMI port 2. Another problem is that the monitor randomly powers on and off throughout the day, likely be wearing itself prematurely.
Moreover, when connected to a network, the monitor inadvertently turns on my other Apple devices like my Apple TV, and vice versa. This is very frustrating and not Apple-friendly.
I believe a software update could potentially resolve these issues, but my system indicates I am already running the latest version, which is disappointing. On a positive note, the monitor worked well with a Dell PC system, although the random power cycling issue persisted when connected to a network.
Unexpectedly, I discovered that the monitor has a built-in operating system for watching internet TV and streaming with various apps, along with a remote, which was a pleasant surprise. If used as a standalone streaming device, it performs well, and it also supports Bluetooth, allowing for the integration of Bluetooth speakers. This monitor has many great features, and I really want to love it. I hope future software updates can resolve my issues.

Decent quality but for the price there are better options.
Monitor was never calibrated out of the box. Took an entire day going through manual and the internet to find the best setting. Standard content is heavily washed out when HDR is enabled. I have never had to switch my monitor modes between HDR and SDR content as many times as I did on this monitor. I wanted to love this monitor, but I just could not. Games were darker then they should have been, video quality was great but only HDR, SDR appeared washed out and cloudy forcing me to yet again change my settings, My older 1440p performed better than this.
Worst was the unnecessary startup at the Home screen (netflix, disney apps) etc. My computer and other 2 displays would come on within 26 seconds, this monitor would take a 1min 13 seconds to come on average. Every time you change a setting from HDR to SDR or change other setting, the monitor would go through a 2 min restart. Settings button on the panel are clunky and not that great, however using the remote some how is more responsive.
Returning it this weekend

It has all the great things you’d want from a 4K monitor but for its price, not worth it. Its brightness is very lacking and it doesn’t even have built in speakers. You can get the same level of performance and better for a much cheaper price.

Doesn’t Work Reliably

Monitor panel itself is good, it looks good when playing games the HDR and high refresh rate is nice. But the software for the monitor is awful. I’m using a basic 5 year old monitor as a second monitor to this one and it boots up instantly with the PC, this monitor takes up to a minute of figuring out what it’s doing and sometimes it just will not boot. I’ll have to unplug it and plug it back in. And boy I better hope my computer doesn’t go into sleep mode because this monitor will absolutely not boot back up from sleep. If my PC goes to sleep, I have to hold my power button on the PC and restart it. The worst part is when I buy a $500 Samsung monitor I expect it to work well so I threw my box away and can’t return it. My advice is keep the box and if the monitor acts this way, take it back. This is ridiculous for a product by Samsung and at this price.

Looks great but doesn't work

Worst monitor i've ever purchased. It looks amazing but works 40% of the time. Have constant issues with the screen flicking on and off while gaming and watching movies. I've tried factory resetting it, updating it, changing refresh rates, turning off game mode, new hdmi cables, and nothing has fixed it. This happens on both Xbox and PC. Would be the greatest monitor ever for the price if it worked.

Mediocre, not worth the price. Too cluttered, if you just want a good monitor do NOT get this. Way to complicated, colors are washed out, it’s says it’s vesa mount compatible yet you have to buy an adapter and screws because neither is supplied with what Samsung ships. The screen crispness is crap, when you turn hdr on it’s very dim, not at all what you’d expect for this product. I have Asus Tuf screens half this price that look way better

Purchased this monitor June of last year. The first one I purchased came with no remote, so I could not set it up and use it whatsoever. Whatever; best buy lets me replace it within the return policy. I purchase another one trying to give it a fair shot. This one has the remote and lets me set it up. Screen looks AMAZING… for about 4 weeks. A solid blue line starts to form center-right of the screen and stays there permanently. Additionally, its constantly flashing whenever changing resolutions in games, even going as far as not recognizing the Display Port connection, causing me to fully restart my pc to get the screen back. Looking online, this seems to be a common occurrence. I cannot wait to ditch this monitor and get an LG or MSI.
