Had attempedted break through my (Front Door) and we needed something that would let me know if our door opened when we where not home . I set this system up like security system with sensor on door and motion detection . I must say I’m so great full to have peace and mind. I have it set up when door opens up my hall lamp turns on ,I get notification then I view my camera from any where.

This is a great addition for any home automation enthusiast! Easy to setup and provides great features! Recommend it to anyone

Overall good product and works well but motion sensor battery dropped to 90% after a week's use. Will continue to monitor the battery. other brands sell these sensors for much lesser and if their batteries last longer this product may not be worth the price

I’m not going to tell you not to buy this product. Building an IoT home is a guilty pleasure or mine. A nice addition to my lineup, the packaged devices are easily connected, and provide a peace of mind knowing that my home is secure.

I started with Phillips Hue bulbs and i now have the brains to run countless smart devices for my smart home. This product let's you add everything you need or want in a smart-home. It has worked with out any issues. It is easy to set up and use. This is a must have.

This is a great starter set to get into smartthings. Works well for home automation.

I have integrated all my major light switches, door sensors, and synced it up with the Several Alexa’s. It works very well. The only complaint I have, is it not able to do some of the timed things I would like it to do without creating several other “routines “ that sometimes work well, & other times seem to not work. Also, the security portion is good for seeing what is going on, but does not work to arm and disarm the way I have “tried” to program it. Every morning when my son leaves for work, it is supposed to arm, but it also alarms because he opened the door to leave. Maybe it’s me? Just seems a little buggy!

Works with google home and flawlessly with IFTTT on a bi-level home.

Setup was easy enough and it works well but I'm having a hard time finding suitable options for a speaker or siren so it can announce intrusions other than through my phone. I recently switched my network and having the hub was great. Everything through the hub was automatically on the network. Other older devices such as outlets that did not require a hub had to be connected to the new network one by one which was a pain.

Love Samsung smart home. It was very easy to set up and begin using. Love that it is compatible with many other systems. Love the temperature sensors on the door sensors. An added bonus I find very useful.

I bought this samsung smartthings for my home as a blackfriday deal. It was easy install with the app. Everything was OK for two weeks. Third week motion sensor and the door sensors failed. Tried all the suggestions found online, nothing worked. Finally spoke to the Tech guy, he suggested, whenever this happens, go to app and use Add a thing to reconnect the sensor to the hub, I did it worked, no problem since then.

Got this as a bundle when i bought a new Galaxy phone and really didn't think i would use it but i decided to try it out and so far so good.. nice way to start to turn your home into a smart home and pretty cool to monitor and control things from your phone.. Things of the future.. only been using it for about a month but been smooth since.. keep in mind, the hub that controls everything advertises to have a battery back up which it does BUT if the power goes out most likely your wifi will go out as well and you have to have wifi to keep the products connected so having a battery backed up hub is pointless unless you somehow have a wifi connection that is not affected by a power outtage.. just something to keep in mind..

If you want an easy home automation system. This is your device. Samsung is constantly making improvements and they do listen to end-users. Easy to setup and add devices. This starter kit will get you introduced to home automation in no time. You can go basic or you can go crazy with all this zwave and zigbee devices. I personally prefer zwave devices as they have better range and device selections by many manufacturers. This deal with bestbuy was the best buy. Keep watching it and from time to time, you'll see it at 50% off for the basic kit. Enjoy!

This is the one hub to rule them all - a system that can really tie up you smarthome (as long as it supports the devices of course). Its a bit complicated to use but after you get it its gold.
