Very compact, easy to use and very fast if used with a computer having the matching usb speed rate as the drive. The 4 stars is because at some points the transfer speed is a little slower but only in some instances almost rarely.

I bought this for my ps5 system. So i can use my digital ps4 ganes on the ps5. Very good external ssd drive. Im no nerd im no tech savvy. But for me its very fast. Easy to use . Had no issues. Its expensive. But compared to other similar products its farily the same price point.

Setup is fast and easy. The T7 2TB is well-suited for automated, scheduled backups of one's desktop or laptop. (I'm currently using Macrium Reflect 7 software, which just completed a nightly incremental backup. Process is so quick that I intend to use nightly full backups.) Read and write speeds are very decent--as long as you are connecting with quality USB 3.1 gen 2 cables. Samsung-supplied cables work well, albeit are very short. Please avoid using cheap USB 2.0 bargain-basement cables. They will pass data at fractional speeds and hugely compromise performance.

So I upgraded my hardware and unfortunately adding an internal SSD was not possible in my iMAC, but I read the read/write speeds of this hardware, and the iMac has 2 USBC/Thunderbolt ports on it. Let me tell you this thing screams! I use this as a data drive for Windows on Bootcamp, and I don't have to wait for it, nor does the computer. Downloading large amount of files and games to it actually now bottle necks on my ISP at 500 MBPS. Apps, Games and items load without hesitation and without issues! I'd highly recommend if you are looking for an SSD and have the USB ports to use!

Great external SSD with good speed. Good deal when on sale. Form factor is very convenient and unlike many other ext SSDs, does have an activity light.

Great hard drive. Tiny. It doesn’t take up much space. Always do a solid state drive. No moving parts to worry about breaking with any rattling around.

I own 2 of these and love them both. I use them to back up my Windows system. Fast and small sized.

Got annew video card that was too big to have with my hdd cage. Glad I found this one. It has a lot of space and is fast.

It's amazing what an SSD can do compared to the old school HDD !! plus it's virtually unbreakable, and FAST !!!. Don;t doubt it, pull the trigger!

Using the drive as an OS drive backup disk on 3 systems. Performs very well and price was reasonable.

I've had this less than one month, so this isn't a longevity review. So far, it appears to be efficient at backing up my laptop. It gets a bit hot while it's working; cools down pretty quickly. Reassuring to have so much memory in such a small, efficient device.
