Great little hard drive

I have 4 regular external HD full of pictures and movies etc. I was concerned about one of them locking up or crashing . I've had that happen before and never recovered my data . So I'm moving some of my most important stuff to Solid State external Hard drives. I feel like my data will be more secure on one of these since it has no moving parts.

I can not put PS5 games on it at this time but I can use PS4 games. It's blazing fast! I'm using the USB C port but I believe if I need to free up the USB C port in the future (PSVR?) I can get the same speeds on the rear PS5 USB A ports. Good stuff!

Small and easy to transport when I'm on the go, and I've dropped a few of them and they've all survived the drop too (though I don't recommend dropping them, lol). I use them to store high-res JPEGs and RAW images and they work great in combination with my Macbook Pro.

It was pretty easy to use with my Mac. I needed to back up my old computer and transfer files to a new MacBook pro. It was a smooth process. Happy with my purchase.

The Read/Write is vastly quicker which makes editing easier and haven’t ran into any issues yet. Definitely my new go to.

It's been great and from what I've seen it will be even better on the series X for performance. I did get it on a pretty good sale which made it much more palatable to purchase, and would recommend catching on sale if you can, but otherwise I think it's the best external drive I've owned.

In some casual comparisons between the the T5 and new T7 moving identical files, the T7 seems to finish a few seconds faster. My true test will come after Christmas when I will get to use a new computer with USB 3.2 ports. I hope to see the full capability. The sturdiness of this drive as well as the older T5 are both excellent.
