Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Extremely fast for USB 3.0 drive, but not as fast as nvme SSDs obviously. Fast enough to emergency boot/run OS on my Mac. After bios update I had to reformat - selected MBR and exFat partition - same as default setup for these drives. I like the small size and password protection feature. Drive integrates with Samsung Magician similar to my internal SSDs, but it cannot use all the Magician features on USB. Definitely worth the price, especially on discount at BB, for excellent quality.

This one is no different and performs well in terms of performance and reliability. I've been using it for about 2 months now with no issues.

I can take my whole desktop with me, without taking the desktop. Just plug it in and copy files from the hard drive on the desktop to this external drive. Highly recommend.
