I'm using this for large file storage and it works as advertised. Also included two different types of connector cables so adding a star for that! Only time will tell if it'll last but so far, so good. The only thing I wish it had was a case but it's so small that maybe Samsung figured that most people wouldn't use it. Other than that I'm happy so far.

This SSD is fast and reliable. Great purchase. I have it connected to XBOX and have had no issues for 2 years a d going.

Ive used various external SSD drives to free up storage space on my mac and I have to say samsung are the best. Doesnt get hot, works like it should with no problems

It's a nice little, compact storage space for all of my stuff. I haven't have any issues with overheating or shutting off or anything which is good. It seems to work well and does what I need it to do.

This works perfectly in my Tesla Model Y. Quick format and adding the required folder allowed my dashcam to go from 1 hour to 1 month of storage. One of the easiest upgrades to apply

Excellent SSD! Fast and able to handle the files I throw at it, with some being over 100gb of DDS and PNG files for my flight simulator. works without any issues and performs like I would expect a Samsung to.

If your looking for an affordable big sized external memory hard drive get this one.

Great for time machine backup. Screamingly fast and doesn’t get hot. Works really well on my MBP 16, just plugged in and worked. I’m not using 5”the encryption, so can’t speak to that feature. Great drive for the money. Highly recommended.

Very durable and never fails. Samsung makes the fastest and most reliable SSD. This is my 15th SSD from Samsung for storing all of our family videos and pictures!

I only use ssd drives at this point because of the portability and there are no moving parts to corrupt

Exactly what I needed. Functions properly and haven’t had any issues thus far. Opted for this over the more durable one since I don’t plan on using it outside my home.

I use this drive for video editing on my iMac with Adobe Premiere. It's fast and it takes up very little room on my desk. It comes with two cables, a regular USB and a USB-C. They're only about 14" long, so your drive won't be very far from your computer.

It is great to put games on it. Havent had any problems at all!
