My son got a PS5 for Christmas. We quickly found out the space was very limited on the console. Ran out QUICK! We did the research and purchased the T7 to plug into the back of the PS5 as extended storage. Quickly formatted the drive to work with the PS5 and transferred over all the PS4 games to the T7. It also gives you the option to automatically download PS4 titles to the external drive or keep them on the PS5's storage. So any games my son downloads that are PS4, go directly to the T7. This frees up space for actual PS5 titles. Worked like a charm. If you can afford 1-2TB of space your good to go. We go the 500GB due to budget but still does the trick for now. FYI, we tested several PS4 titles and they load quick and run great. No issues, no stutters, nothing.

Bought this for my Tesla model Y as a dash cam storage device. Works well - no issues so far. Tried to use an extreme micro SD that was advised by many as a better choice. But this seems to work flawlessly. The micro SD did not always record and missed parts of events.

The transfer rates are amazing, I normally use this as a temporary storage and load up photos and videos from my macbook often. Once its full, I dump this off to a bigger Hard Drive for backup. Has been working well for my needs. I will surely recommend.

Samsung makes great products and this is no exception. The build quality is top notch, the speed is great, and the service is top notch. My daughter is using this for external storage for her Ipad since she is creating artwork in Procreate, and has had no issues or complaints. Enjoy!

Bought this based on Tesla blog recommendations, and it did not disappoint. It's slim, light design is easy on the eyes. Plug, format, and use took less than 1 min to set up. It came with 2 cords (USB-A and USB-C), which was a surprise. At $80, by far the best value for a in-car-recorder.

Saved the day in a laptop that was out of space! Bought a cheap laptop and after a year realized it couldn’t complete updated as it had no available space. Deleted everything I could, moved several things over to this, which freed enough space to do updates again.

I really like that its so fast to transfer files to and from my MacBook Pro. theres a little circle to show the progress of the file transfer and its so fast that that circle doesnt even show up. also on any other platform that macOS its less than 470GB but on macOS its the full 500GB.

Love this new SSD. Very fast transfer rate and good security. Just be very careful not to drop it from more than a few inches up or it could damage it just like a spinning disk hard drive- per the owners manual. Maybe someone will design a rubber shock-proof case for the unit.

Light but sturdy. Small for portability, large enough not to lose. Handy password protection feature. Gets slightly warm when using.

I bought this portable SSD six months ago, as recommended by my colleague. He is an IT. Well, it did not disappoint me. It has a very light yet sturdy design. The speed of data transfer is supper fast!

This little portable drive is incredibly fast when used with USB 3.2. It's purpose is to move, as in "sneakernet", very large (10gb+) video files from our encoding PC to a media server. For this one purpose it simply excels.

Way better than other brands I have used. Don’t want to knock them but they stopped working with OSX updates and these Samsungs 5th one I’ve purchased are rock solid

Occasionally you buy a drive that seems to malfunction sooner than expected, but so far I've had no problems with this one. It is quiet. It is recognized every time I access it. No complaints.

No frills and works as expected. I carry my Steam Library around with me on here and this works just as well as an internal SSD in terms of game performance. Great option if you are looking for external storage with a gaming laptop.

I bought 3 of these to serve as backups for our laptops. They are easy to set up and they work great. Good value and solid quality. I expect they will last for a few years and provide reliable backups of our data.

I am using this Samsung SSD in my Tesla Model 3 Security System and it is performing spectacular since I installed it and formatted it to the specs of Tesla.

Great for field backups or on the road editing of photos and videos. It’s slippery though.

Great value (at least when it was on sale). This thing is ludicrously fast. Excellent expanded storage option if you’re like me and were unwilling to pay apple’s exorbitant upgrade tax for increased internal storage.
