I have three of these T7's. One is my main SSD External in my writing studio (audio). The second is a backup. The third lives with my laptop for when I'm on the road. The idea that this little drive (tiny, really) holds 4TB continues to boggle my mind.

Fast and very realiable. Gaming with this products makes a world of difference when playing straight from it or just a matter of extra storage for any next gen titles for fast transferring.

I use on my xbox to transfer x/s games back and forth from the internal storage. Works great. Great transfer speeds. 10/10. All other games on it load in way faster.

Just purchased yesterday. Attached to my 12 gen. I-7 computers' USB-C, and though I'm not clocking, it seems to run as fast as my internal SSD! Surprisingly small size makes it extremely portable. Hoping for 5 yr. life expectancy for archives. Good price/good value!

This is a reliable and high speed storage solution to keep up with my storge needs. The T7 Shield's lightning-fast data transfer speeds, boasting up to 1050MB/s, make file transfers a breeze.

So small and super fast! I use this to hold the imagery for making maps (extremely large files). There isn't any hesitation when I move the map and everything has to regenerate. Would definitely buy again!

I use this drive to store all of my video games on and I am happy with both the speed of the drive and the capacity. My games load up quick and I haven't had any issue during game play. The 4TB size means I have plenty of storage space for my existing and future games.

This has been a revolutionary purchase for me. I needed a place to store large video files that were consuming valuable hard drive space and preventing me from editing or transferring new files onto my laptop. This will store almost 2 years of files, and I am very satisfied with how easy it was to format and set up.
One word of caution, I initially formatted the drive in FAT and it was incapable of transferring files larger than 4GB, so if you are dealing with files that large, or larger, don't forget to format into XFAT from the beginning and save yourself the hassle of having to pull everything off the drive and reformat it.
All in all it was a great drive and if I ever need another external, I will be picking us another T7 Shield.

Great speed and excellent performance. Solid on the road as a backup for anything that connects to USB C, l cannot look back, and also use on on Blackmagic 6k Pro for recording. That requires a better cable to manage power issues but solid drive all round.

I got this to do Time Machine backups for a MacBook Air M2. It is compact, fast, and has rubber classing to protect it. I don't notice any overheating. It comes with both USB C to USB C and USB 3.0 to USB C cables. It has to be first formatted so it can do Time Machine backups.
