It works great to play games off of and it's super small, but putting tape on it barely works since it has a soft touch rubber case on it.

Fastest, and most durable external hard drive money can buy. Best buy is my go-to place to get all my equipment. This hard drive is running all my editing softwares flawlessly for all my video production needs.

Using this to keep my professional photography works on and work off of. Note: I back up to 2 separate Seagate 20TB hard drives as I work on the files. This Samsung - T9 Portable SSD 2TB is fast and offers me plenty of space for what storage I need. Thanks Samsung and Best Buy.

Good capacity and good data transfer speed is ergonomic and difficult to slip from smooth surfaces.

The 2 TB version is so worth it. I edited a video project off of it that was about 1TB and everything imported and uploaded smoothly. It’s so nice and compact as well.

I'm really impressed with the Samsung T9 Portable SSD (2TB). The data transfer is incredibly fast—just as advertised with speeds up to 2,000MB/s. It handled large files with ease and saved me a lot of time. What I liked most is how quiet and smooth it runs—absolutely no noise or lag. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fast, reliable, and silent SSD!

Perfect for video editing, fast and it doesn't heat up. Much faster than the T7 and so far as reliable. I would recommend it!

Iv been very satisfied with this produc. I initially planned to buy a T8, but best buy had a deal and i picked this up instead. The read/write speeds are double to for transfering large game fiels, and video projects it has saved me tons of time. Its still pretty costy though, so if your use case is drvice backups, or image/document storage, i would recomend a less expensive (and less performative) drive. When i was in the store, they didnt have any on the rack, but the employee helped find me one they had in stock. Came with both usb a, and usb c data transfer cables.

Great value. Easy to use. Setup was instantaneous. It's quick, has a nice rubberized feel, and disappears into one of those tiny little extra pockets in my backpack.

I LOVE this drive. I bought three of the Samsungs; 2 T7s and this T9. This product is awesome, and I'm now fully switching over from older spinning drives for backup and other needs; it's fast enough to work on images in robust softwares externally. It asks in this review if I would recommend this product. Not only did I, I actually went out of my way to call a few others in my circle to tell them about it specifically.

Meets my needs exactly for fast portable backup drive, and no problems yet. And thank you Best Buy for the great pick up service!
