My Mainstay for backing up video and media files. It seems to be very fast and compatible to my MacBook pro. Absolutely no issues thus far.

This Solid-State Drive (SSD) is the best backup storage I have ever owned. I've had many backup units before. All were based on hard disk drive (HDD) technology and all eventually crashed. Fortunately, with multiple backups, I lost none of my data, but then I always needed to replace the crashed drive with another. SSD costs are now affordable and much more reliable that HDD technology. Plus, the size of the unit is much more convenient than a HDD box.

The Samsung T9 4TB SSD is an absolute game-changer. As someone who frequently transfers large files and works with demanding applications, this drive has exceeded all my expectations. The read and write speeds are incredibly fast, making file transfers a breeze. The 4TB capacity provides ample space for all my projects, backups, and media. I love rugged it feel for such a small device. I dont have to feel cautious at like would when handling portable HDD external drives. It is very small but has a hefty weight, and durable rubber finish to absorb any shock if handling it roughly. Speed is great as well.

With working with a lot of files, this drive allows me to transfer and work at high speeds. All while being a reliable drive. I’ve been using Samsung SSD’s for a long a time and I plan to keep buying them. They’ve been proven to be reliable and very portable with durability. This is my go-to drive.

Love it! Bought one a week before and fell in love and had to have a second. I am impressed . It runs cool. Way fast ter thsn sny of my thumb drives. Price was good and it was in stock. As always Best Buy had an excellent staff. Next month i plan to buy another. I have a san disk 4tb and this ine well exceeds it and the sandisk runs hot.

I love everything about this portable solid state drive: The storage capacity is humongous, the transfer rate is super fast, and the size and light weight of it is perfect for slipping inside even a shirt pocket. It has a textured finish that is reassuringly "grippy, so you the danger of it slipping out of your grasp is minimized greatly.

This is the second SSD from Samsung -T9 I own. Reliable, fast, and ultra portable. Highly recommend.

You got what you pay for, and this drive is highly reviewed for a reason. I use it for a portable music production drive. It's been over a year. No issues.

Exactly what you want from a drive like this. Rugged, fast, HUGE. I've had San Disks fail me, but not never Samsung. Tech is tech and all are liable but great track record here.

This little beast is as good as it gets. Easy to carry around with lots of capacity and quick upload/download.

As a photographer I'd always used conventional external hard drives to store archived catalogs and images. However, I found them exceptionally slow to retrieve data when needed. I'd read the really good reviews about the Samsung $9 and decided to buy the 4TB drive to replace my older external drives. I have to say, I'm very impressed with the exceptional speed to the T9. I just wish I'd invested in one much sooner. For photographer's and videographers in need of an external drive, this is the one.

A copious amount of memory for the price. I DJ weddings and am trying to compile an offline database of music, so this is perfect. Great app to help manage it, though I’d recommend this more for PC than Mac users, as it interfaces with the software better. However, I use a Mac and I’m a fan

After a few years of storing files on an older iteration of SSD, this drive is a great upgrade.
