Customers recognize the WaterWall 24" Tall Tub Built-In Dishwasher as impressively quiet and appreciate its extra rack for versatile loading. However, some users find the drying performance less than satisfactory and the wash cycles rather lengthy. The spacious interior is also a frequently cited positive. Many find the dishwasher easy to use and keep clean.

I honestly think today that dishwashers just don't last or do an amazing job on a consistent level. The restrictions on water usage make these machines less of a workhorse than the previous decades' models. I would never have paid full price for this model. I got the floor model for 50% off. It is a nice unit. VERY quiet. Does a good job cleaning. Easy to KEEP clean. It is a bit small. The Flex Rack takes up quite a bit of room. I cannot have both tall glasses on the top rack and 12"+plates on the bottom rack, without removing the flex rack, unless I only use certain areas within the racks. I am happy so far. It has only been a month. I takes some getting used to that it does not have a heat dry feature, but honestly, it is probably better on your dishes and your wallet. If any food remains on the dishes after the cycle is done, they are easy to rinse and wipe free, instead of being baked on. I am interested to see how long it works for.

The first one they delivered had a leakage problem so they came and switched it out with the same model . I ran about 5 loads and then the same thing started to happen again. I had the installer and the Samsung crew come and check it out and they agreed that it was leaking and the door latch was not connecting securely.. They made arrangements for it to be removed and then picked up and then they brought a third machine. Same model but this one was a brand new slightly improved model. They had to fine tune some issues and low and behold this new one is working wonderfully. I am elated because I really like the waterfall model and I didn't want to give up on it.. I was in an 8 month kitchen restoration from the studs up in a National Registered Historic house. My kitchen is very important to me as I am a certified chef and am now retired but still love to cook. The open capacity that the waterfall allows is a godsend and it is sooooo quiet.
The latch is stronger and no leakage!! My patience paid off and everyone tried very hard to get it all taken care off.. Bill Moser from Best Buy was especially helpful and couldn't have been nicer..

This is a beautiful dishwasher. It is very quiet compared to the one I had before. I love the three racks and the top skinny one is great for large spatulas, tongs, etc. I also like that the top (middle actually) rack can super-easily adjust up or down in case you have big things in the bottom or on the top. Also, most of the tines (?) can stand up or lie down, so it is very customizable based on the particular load of dishes you're washing. Another feature I love is the silverware rack - it holds things in place so flatware doesn't nest. It seems to clean effectively.
The only slight negatives I have about this are that the cycle time seems pretty long compared to my old unit. Also, the drying is not super-effective. All in all, though, I'm happy with my purchase.

Dishwasher Meets My Expectation

I looked online first for a great deal on an Open-Box special that I could take home the same day, and found this one - at a 50% discount.
The description stated it was in "Fair" condition with some scratches, so I went into this experience expecting an appliance in "Fair" condition.
However, I was pleasantly surprised at how "good" the condition was. The associate discounted another $50 since I was taking it home at that moment. A $1000+ dishwasher for $449!! Why settle for a cheap Whirlpool or Amana at $350 when this deal was staring me in the face?
It was my first try at installing a dishwasher by myself, and was surprised at how easy it was.
Then the moment of truth: for dinner we had chicken and bean soup, didn't wash our bowls, just put them straight in. After one hour of quiet operation #man that was so cool#, the bowls and glasses were sparkling! Sanitizing only adds 8 minutes to the cycle. It was so nice to have a dishwasher that finally worked! Even if it fails in the next week - I'll still keep the 5 stars because the experience was great and the dishwasher worked how it was supposed to - and this was an "Open-box" unit - with no box! My next test was a cake plate with dried cake and frosting on it- just stuck it without rinsing and one quiet hour later - BOOM! it was sparkling clean! Great value and I'm ready to go dirty more dishes!

Extremely quiet! I don't know if the drying function is working or if the hose is causing the problem, but once I figure it out I will review this item again. Each time I have used this there is a lot of water on the dishes as well as all over the door and bottom inside of the unit. Very damp/wet inside even after letting it sit over night. The unit is level, so that is not an issue. I have to choose yes or no for recommend, this could change.

I would give this 5 stars but it is missing the much needed "rinse only" cycle I used so much on my old dishwasher. That said it cleans well is super quiet and attractive. We got it on sale for a great price and we are happy with it. My dishes are spotless and no water spots when I use as directed. The dry cycle is 4 stars as I sometimes have dishes/glasses the are a little wet on top but overall it is a fabulous dishwasher. I love the blue light to let you know it is working because it is so quiet you can hardly hear it even with your ear close to it.

We purchased the dishwasher based on the water wall technology. So far it seems to be a good dishwasher. Very quiet! Only thing we may complain about is that at times it seems like the dishes aren't super dry when you have it on the dry cycle.

While the cycles are quite long (no direct heated drying), the ability to remove dried food and cheese from plates is excellent. The unit is quiet and easy to operate, and the third level top drawer is great for extra flatware and cooking utensils. Best dishwasher in 40 years of experience. Only critique is that the drain hose is never long enough, but that seems to be true on all dishwashers these days.

Upgraded from older kenmore appliances, this Samsung dishwasher is very quiet. Blue light under the handle is the only way you can tell it's even on. Love that the middle rack can drop to fit larger glasses. Love the very top rack for flat and awkward items. Typical stainless shows all the finger prints and water marks, but not much else to complain about.

After reading reviews and speaking with the sales rep my wife and I decided to go with this model with our kitchen remodel. I was shocked on how quiet it is and the profile and design is appealing. My only complaint if I had to find one is that it doesn't dry fantastic even with jet dry added...I would give it a good not excellent on that. The wine rack option is nice also. Overall very pleased.

Samsung has a great reputation and this dishwasher works wonderfully gets the job done. Just wish it did better at drying the dishes in most cases dishes are quite wet when cycle completes. Dishwasher gets them clean no doubt and by adding the rinse aid (Jet Dry) it aids in helping dishes to dry. There is no heating element to assist in the drying due to the Water wall feature on this design.

I'm not very happy with this purchase. This dish washer was $999 and I don't think it was worth the money. It doesn't dry my dishes well and the cycles are too long; 2 hours for an express wash and dry, unacceptable. It is very quiet which is a plus from my last dish washer.

The dishwasher washes great, but it does not dry well. I just got rid of a dishwasher because of the drying issue and hoped this one would work better. It is a bit better, but not a lot. For the price paid versus other dishwashers, it should dry much better.

I love my new Samsung dishwasher. I was deciding between several different models and finally decided that I really liked the wall of water and wanted the 3rd rack at the top. This replaced a basic builders model dishwasher that was 12 years old. It was white. The stainless steel is beautiful. I got it to match my Samsung refrigerator that I bought last year. This dishwasher is super quiet. You can't even tell its running unless you put your ear down to it (well you can see that the light is on -- ha, ha!). My dishes are coming out very clean. While the plastics seem to remain wet, it doesn't bother me as I never used my dry cycle in my former dishwasher and I'm used to it. I'd rather have them that way then melted if the dry cycle was too hot. The third rack is perfect for those flat things that you have no place to put in a 2-rack dishwasher. It saves space in the main racks for the real dishes. I also love the silverware holder -- lots of space to individually load them and you can open up the basket to drop in smaller things.
