Beautiful, "customizable" and quiet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a beautiful dishwasher. It is very quiet compared to the one I had before. I love the three racks and the top skinny one is great for large spatulas, tongs, etc. I also like that the top (middle actually) rack can super-easily adjust up or down in case you have big things in the bottom or on the top. Also, most of the tines (?) can stand up or lie down, so it is very customizable based on the particular load of dishes you're washing. Another feature I love is the silverware rack - it holds things in place so flatware doesn't nest. It seems to clean effectively. The only slight negatives I have about this are that the cycle time seems pretty long compared to my old unit. Also, the drying is not super-effective. All in all, though, I'm happy with my purchase.

Dishwasher Meets My Expectation
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I looked online first for a great deal on an Open-Box special that I could take home the same day, and found this one - at a 50% discount. The description stated it was in "Fair" condition with some scratches, so I went into this experience expecting an appliance in "Fair" condition. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how "good" the condition was. The associate discounted another $50 since I was taking it home at that moment. A $1000+ dishwasher for $449!! Why settle for a cheap Whirlpool or Amana at $350 when this deal was staring me in the face? It was my first try at installing a dishwasher by myself, and was surprised at how easy it was. Then the moment of truth: for dinner we had chicken and bean soup, didn't wash our bowls, just put them straight in. After one hour of quiet operation #man that was so cool#, the bowls and glasses were sparkling! Sanitizing only adds 8 minutes to the cycle. It was so nice to have a dishwasher that finally worked! Even if it fails in the next week - I'll still keep the 5 stars because the experience was great and the dishwasher worked how it was supposed to - and this was an "Open-box" unit - with no box! My next test was a cake plate with dried cake and frosting on it- just stuck it without rinsing and one quiet hour later - BOOM! it was sparkling clean! Great value and I'm ready to go dirty more dishes!

Get the dishes clean
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would give this 5 stars but it is missing the much needed "rinse only" cycle I used so much on my old dishwasher. That said it cleans well is super quiet and attractive. We got it on sale for a great price and we are happy with it. My dishes are spotless and no water spots when I use as directed. The dry cycle is 4 stars as I sometimes have dishes/glasses the are a little wet on top but overall it is a fabulous dishwasher. I love the blue light to let you know it is working because it is so quiet you can hardly hear it even with your ear close to it.

Good For Today's Dishwasher Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I honestly think today that dishwashers just don't last or do an amazing job on a consistent level. The restrictions on water usage make these machines less of a workhorse than the previous decades' models. I would never have paid full price for this model. I got the floor model for 50% off. It is a nice unit. VERY quiet. Does a good job cleaning. Easy to KEEP clean. It is a bit small. The Flex Rack takes up quite a bit of room. I cannot have both tall glasses on the top rack and 12"+plates on the bottom rack, without removing the flex rack, unless I only use certain areas within the racks. I am happy so far. It has only been a month. I takes some getting used to that it does not have a heat dry feature, but honestly, it is probably better on your dishes and your wallet. If any food remains on the dishes after the cycle is done, they are easy to rinse and wipe free, instead of being baked on. I am interested to see how long it works for.

Great dishwasher with lots of room & it's QUIET!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first one they delivered had a leakage problem so they came and switched it out with the same model . I ran about 5 loads and then the same thing started to happen again. I had the installer and the Samsung crew come and check it out and they agreed that it was leaking and the door latch was not connecting securely.. They made arrangements for it to be removed and then picked up and then they brought a third machine. Same model but this one was a brand new slightly improved model. They had to fine tune some issues and low and behold this new one is working wonderfully. I am elated because I really like the waterfall model and I didn't want to give up on it.. I was in an 8 month kitchen restoration from the studs up in a National Registered Historic house. My kitchen is very important to me as I am a certified chef and am now retired but still love to cook. The open capacity that the waterfall allows is a godsend and it is sooooo quiet. The latch is stronger and no leakage!! My patience paid off and everyone tried very hard to get it all taken care off.. Bill Moser from Best Buy was especially helpful and couldn't have been nicer..

So far so good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased the dishwasher based on the water wall technology. So far it seems to be a good dishwasher. Very quiet! Only thing we may complain about is that at times it seems like the dishes aren't super dry when you have it on the dry cycle.

Q: QuestionHas anyone had success with getting Samsung customer service actually get this dishwasher to actually clean? I got customer service to send a tech out after 1 1/2 hours on the phone. Tech said that machine was running fine.
Asked by StevB.
- A:Answer I found that the dishes must be loaded in a certain way for the dishes to get cleaned. Try turning your plates/bowls in the opposite direction and lean them over a bit so the water will actually hit where the food is. I did this and my plates/bowls came out spotless. I tried leaving dried egg and cheese on the plates as a test. Hope this helps!

Q: QuestionDoes this dishwasher clean and work as well as the older models of Samsung and Bosch? Are they really worth the extra money?
Asked by Lo.
- A:Answer Stay away from this machine. It does not clean and leaves residue on glasses. Customer service is a nightmare. They did send someone out and the tech said the machine was operating within specs. Attached pics of silverware the tech put in the machine and said was clean.
