So far this 1TB Portable Solid-State Drive has performed very well. Hopefully, it will last longer than the previous "MY BOOK" external hard drive. The compact size of the SanDisk makes it a perfect companion on my scuba diving trips. I can backup all of my underwater pictures and videos.

It's way smaller than I was expecting, I can easily fit it into my pocket along with my wallet. It comes with a usb to usb-c adapter in case your computer doesn't have a usb-c port which is nice. A little on the expensive side but if you can find this on sale, buy it.

I bought this to hold pictures, videos, music, and other files. It connects, reads, writes, and disconnects to my devices fast! It was easy to use too. No complex setup, although there probably is a fancy way to set this up to protect files. It was pretty much a plug and play for me.

I do a lot of video work and need to edit on the fly. The transfer rate is super fast and I love how compact it is. I will no longer be buying harddrives, as I’ve always had bad luck with it man-functioning. SSD’s do not work off motors as HDD’s do, so it’s not much of an issue.

I have the original Xbox One 500GB from 2013 and needed more storage. The SSD works great in expanding its storage, it also sped up load time for games which is a bonus for me. Happy with my purchase, no complaints. I will update if anything does come up.

Works well so far. Writing to it is very fast and is sustained. It is also very light weight - you will be surprised how light it is. Can't tell how good the quality is since have not used it for a long time yet. Comes with the needed cables.

Best option for PS4 and photography. It runs flawlessly with photo and video editing. I’ll buy more of these as needed. This particular model comes with a USB typeA adapter. Very useful since some cameras still don’t have USB interface.

Excellent portable solid-state 1TB storage device that comes with Type-A/Type-C connectors for convenient adaptability. Have relied on SanDisk products for many years and this is another great purchase from BestBuy - at a great price.

I’m very satisfied with this hard drive. It packs a lot storage in a small, very portable drive. I tried to get it to work with my Mac but I couldn’t get it to format for Apple. My spouse is using it with a PC and loves it!

To be honest I wanted a USB Thumb drive when I made this purchase. Thankfully due to stock and a sale price match I purchased the 1TB SanDisk Extreme. All I have to say is wow it is so much faster than the Thumb drives. This of course makes perfect sense as its a Solid State Drive. Yes its bigger than a thumb drive but this thing is made to be strong and handle anything you throw at it, and to be honest its really not much bigger than a thumb drive. The connector is genius since you just have to pull off part of it to use USB-C 3.1 interface, or add on the connector to use the old USB-A 2.0 style connector. Yes it achieves its promised connection speeds, which after dealing with all the boasts from thumb drives, that are so far exaggerated, that only in an ideal one sec perfect moment they are true. Yes i recommend this. It is very fast and built to take a beating.

I bought this after a 2TB G drive I got on Amazon failed on me the first day. It has been reliable and close to rated speeds consistently. I think I am done buying important electronics from Amazon! I lost a lot of images through this.

Small, fast. Works as expected. I use this drive to store mp4 files for editing and transferring between computers. No problems. Comes with a nicely designed usb to usbC adapter for the cable. I would buy it again.

Easy to use. Small in physical size though big in memory size. Used it to transfer content from my old computer to my new. Plan to use it for long term storage. Came with a USB c cord and a c to USB a adapter. Love it.

No reason not to back up when you’re work is done. In conjunction with a USB-C connection, backing up is completed in virtually no time. Plus, this 1 Tb external hard drive is such a compact size and is powered by your computer. A great buy!

Bought this to put off opening my new laptop for new drives to support running Virtual Machines (VMs) from it. Drive works, small and fast. VMs from this external load faster than I've had some systems running from older SSDs load.

Wanted to get myself some external storage that was as portable as a USB but with speeds that are as good as SSD's, so I was very happy with the performance I have been getting with this. A good bonus is its durable build with some resistance against the elements. If it was cheaper, I'd get more of these. Still a definite recommend!

I now have two of these, and am very pleased with their speed. They're small -- about the size of a business card and 1/4" thick, and they get their power from the USB port, so that's one less power cord to have to deal with.

It was definitely better than I expected. I’ve got tired of loosing data from HDD hard drives crashing in me so I got this for my important data. Incredibly thin and small and fast to copy your data.
