    The SanDisk Professional G-Drive works great. I have been using it for about a month and have not noticed any lag in performance, like other external drives. I purchased the 2 terabyte capacity to ensure adequate storage for backups on my MacBook Pro. Oh, not to mention, the SanDisk G-Drive is enclosed in a rugged case to easily withstand drops and shield it from debris. I highly recommend the SanDisk Professional G-Drive.

    My old external hard drive failed so I started looking around for the best deal and option. Best Buy came through again as it has many times in the past. Great price and great unit. It was easy to set up and has many options

    The item is listed as plug and play, that turned out not to be true. My Windows 11 computer could see the drive when plugged in, but it did not show up on the drop down menu for use. Apparently, this is a known issue, thankfully there are videos on YouTube that explain how to fix the problem. Once I followed the YouTube fix the drive worked great. I'm happy with the drive, not so happy with the extra research needed to get it working.

    Fast and easy to download files onto. Able to put thousands of RAW photos on. Have downloaded files from cloud to hard drive.

    It is not as fast as a solid state drive but it is a lot cheeper. It allows me to get two drives for multiple backups. The only reason I did nit give it a five is that it is not as fast as solid state but I knew that going in.
