This SSD drive is fast and lightweight. I put it in my aging Mid 2009 Macbook Pro, which had been struggling. It is now running much faster, quieter, and cooler. Copying my old hard drive to the new one was easy and so was the installation. If you have an older computer that you are not ready to give up on yet, give this a try.

SanDisk delivers a solid product. 500GB should be more than enough for most people's storage power. This hard drive has no moving parts, responds well on any machine, and brings life to older ones. I can't say enough about it. A++

I've always have had good luck with Scandisk products. Can't go wrong with a SSD for fast computing.

I have a laptop that is over 5 years old. I considered buying a new one because mine was running so slow. It originally came with windows 8, and I never had any issues. After it upgraded to windows 10, it ran super slow. After talking with a geeksqaud member, he suggested a SSD. I bought this one, and now my computer runs faster than it did when it was brand new!!

Much faster than spinning drives. A bit expensive on per GB basis.

Now-a-days getting and SSD is pretty much a must if you wanna speed up your computer. Those dinky litte 128GB's barely hold enough to put an OS and essential programs. Fortunately these 500GB's have become cheap enough they're essential. I put this in a co-worker's computer and haven't benched it but it's a big improvement over any mechanical drive.

I installed this Sandisk SSD as part of an upgrade on a 2011 15” MacBook Pro. I also upgraded the Ram from 4GB and 16GB and replaced the optical drive with 2TB HD. I must say that this SSD drive is fast and with these upgrades my computer has nothing to envy a 2018 MacBook Pro.

I purchased this SSD for my Dads favorite laptop, as it was creeping towards death. He still thinks that I bought him a brand new PC! Works Great!

Installed this SSD in a Dell Optiplex 7020 MT business desktop PC. Boots fast, has great response rate. I highly recommend this drive. It would also work fine in a notebook PC.

Bought to bring life back to an old i3 laptop. Used free software to clone the old drive to the new one. Boot time is now 20 seconds ... ready to go. Before boot time was 3 plus minutes.

I received the drive in good time and installed it into my "dead" laptop. After learning how to configure and going through that procedure, I am totally pleased with it.

I purchased this SSD half a year ago, no issue is found. Hard drive speed (loading, processing etc.) is day and night compared with old mechanic hard drive

Tried two different Samsung ssds,one failed after 4 days,the other after 10 days.This drive has worked fine for two weeks.So far so good.

This was recommended for Atomos Ninja V, I had some issues with other brand of SSD and this works great!
