Manufacture warranty process is extremely complicated and support services is nonexistent. Beware if purchasing this product is built to be disposable and cannot be repaired if it fails.

This isn't for kids parents save your money. Adults if you have some spare change buy it for yourself or wait for some price drop that's probably a year a way.

Seagate RMA process was painful. The tech support had no clue what this was and asked me to plug it into a PC to validate a PC could see it. Which is impossible since it is a proprietary card. Anyway. after spending more than an hour and going through two different tech support reps, the replacement is on the way. Had to pay $11.95 for advanced replacement otherwise getting a new one would have probably taken a month due to shipping east coast to west coast. Hopefully the replacement will last more than 3 months.
