Planning to go all digital with the Xbox Series so having more storage was a need. Would like to see some competition in this area as currently this is the only choice and based on that the price will remain high. I believe this is gen 3 PCIe which means the price for 1TB at time of purchase was certainly on the high side ($220).

These things are downright speedy. They transfer files back and forth faster than my computer. Feels like a turbo-charged M.2 drive. Expensive right now, but I am not disappointed with the purchase.

Initially I thought it was a bit expensive but after some research much easier and same price as the PS5 expansion. It is super easy to install and super fast to copy games on it.

The best-expanded storage ever purchase. Just plug-in use it's that easy no unscrewing anything no heat sink to worry about. (looking at you PS5) Also, it's a very fast SSD-NVMe.

An absolute must with the current size of games and the current size of the onboard storage for the Xbox Series consoles. It is super portable, as fast as the onboard SSD in the consoles, and has a nice design.
Unfortunately, it is very expensive for only 1TB which is why this doesn’t get 5 stars.
It also can get quite hot after extended use.

This thing is great, although it is a little over priced but you do get The same speeds as the internal hard drive on the series X, it works flawlessly as if it’s the same hard drive

Adds lots of room to an amazing system. The Xbox series X is already great, but the added storage really helps. It also just plugs in very easily to the back of the console. Two thumbs up!!!

Plug N Play ( Xbox Series X ), game transfer ( 170gb COD ) was about 20 minutes, we also moved GTA V just to see how the system you react when accessed, still fast playing from the EXPANSION CARD. Price was high, but we took a chance. This may not be for everyone, but, but it involves NO WIRES to connect, it was an early 2021 Christmas gift.

I have the Xbox Series S and I knew I’d eventually would need extra memory. Is so easy to install. Hardest part was opening the packaging. Now, I’m not concerned with memory space.
