Great item. easy to use and does what's its supposed to. I needed one for my xbox one because I had very little storage. I was reluctant to purchase it because I've never had one. I finaly broke down and purchased it. Wish I had earlier. 10/10 would buy again. (Which I probably will for my ps4)

I bought this HD to expand my laptop's storage capacity. I needed a USB 3 because I can transfer huge amount of data quickly. Although there are several USB 3 portable HDs I picked this one because of its price. I'm very pleased with my choose. Not only it's very fast, but it's also very light and very quiet. Furthermore it is very small and stays cool regardless how much you use it. It is made out of matte plastic that feels pretty well made, though I'd prefer aluminum for durability. The back of the drive has the USB 3.0 port and there's a small blue power/activity light on top of the drive. Also, there are small rubber feet on the bottom, to keep the drive from sliding around on your desk. The USB 3.0 cable is short, so it's best suited for use with laptops. It's compatible with both PC and MAC (OS X 10.4.8 and up). Also compatible with USB 2 (but with reduced transfer speed).

Great Little Hard Drive. Lots of space, nice color (silver). Small and compact but large capacity (1 tb), light on when being accessed, like the color, usb 3 so its faster. Compatible with my macbook pro.

Bought this for my son to use for his schoolwork and it's cheap and easy. LOTS of storage for $70. Small too. Excellent buy.

It was a great price, it' got plenty of space, and it transfers files very quickly. It hasn't crashed and it hasn't attempted to summon any demons into my home. Five stars, would buy again.

One of the best external Hard drives I have had in awhile. Overall, the price is somewhat fair, and it runs very smoothly and rarely makes noises. Super easy setup as well.

Small size, large capacity, easy to use; provides a safe back up option

I got this device on a sale at $49 and it was totally worth it. Seagate has a lot improved as the previous version was totally a letdown .. I still don't know how long this is going to last but for now I am very happy with my purchase. I play all my games on this and it runs smoothly.

I purchased this external HD for extra storage for my xbox one. Literally took it out of the box, plugged it in and it was ready to go. I've been saving my games on it ever since.

Seagate - Expansion 1TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive is exactly what I was looking for. Big storage and small size - it can fit into a pocket of your pants or jacket, I would recommend this product . Great buy for the money.

The Seagate 1TB usb powered HDD works well and is my personal cloud backup! It wasn't in stock, but was worth the wait. It is compact,easy to store and priced right.

Definitely worth the $49 I paid for this. Runs fast and is worth the price! If you're a Mac user, you'll need to install Tuxiera to use this though, but no biggie.

Bought these as a way to back up some important files and also as a way to move large amounts of data from our desktop to other computers. They have worked exactly how I expected them to. I have not had any problems and they were extremely easy to get up and running. They are also small and take up very little room which makes them great for taking with you while having more storage than a thumb drive.

Needed to replace a backup hard drive that was having problems. USB 3.0 much faster for backing up large files. Much smaller in size, and does not require a separate power supply. Very happy with product.
