The operation of this NVH is not ideal for a desktop backup device. This thing vibrates stronger than my cellphone. After checking the internal drive information CrystalDiskInfo....it confirmed Barracuda inside...versus other lucky buyers getting Enterprise EXOS rated. Chose to return for NVH and Barracuda Reliability.

Hard Drive stopped working in less than a month

I wasn't using Seagate products for a long time because of quality issues and gave them a second chance again. Poor decision. Never again.

I lost everything I saved gone

Garbage

Both of them stopped allowing me to write to the drive. The first one stopped after eight months, the second one stopped after two weeks. That is a lot of storage to put on a hard drive and not have reliability. I understand they can’t stay good forever, but less than a year is outrageous.
