Few weeks of usage - using as a physical backup of last resort for the home server which I also backup to the cloud my ZFS raid. Reformatted the drive as ext4 to preserve Linux permissions and had no issues with that - the backup of last resort is just using rsync with a snapshot weekly.

Very large capacity external USB drive. Use if for backup, especially photos and videos that quickly fill up your computer's internal drive.

I have no issue with the item itself. What I do have an issue with is that it is advertised as 24 TB, even on the box itself, and the total free space is 21.8 TB, which is 2.2 TB less than advertised. And no, there is not stuff preloaded that takes up 2.2 TB. The files on it already take up 31.5 MB of space.

I use this every day. Only problem I see with it and it's because of it's size, is the spin up and waiting for it to be fully available for use.

So far I love these drives will definetly grab a few more in the future once the wallet recovers. Runs faster then my prior WD externals. Got 2 if anything changes ill be sure to update this review

It's a good value but the software could use some work.

I have multiple 4G/5G/6G drives, and I'm the guy that likes to keep multiple backups. I do a lot of video editing, so this 24G unit comes in very handy.

Drive works as described. It easily connected to all of my apple devices. I am using this as a backup for my travel drive for my photography business. This is a great addition to the cloud backup.

I connected it to my computer and does exactly what I need as more storage to help it I use it for games or just stuff in general and can keep it connected.

So much space compared to my old external hard drive. I used it to back up old files from my old computer so I can recycle it. Took everything and there’s still so much space left. Backed up my phone while I was at it.

I edit videos on Youtube and recently converted to a 4k camera. I needed a bigger hard drive for storage. This one does everything I need. It was basically plug and play.

A no brainer, I have been a fan of this brand for many years. I find this product stable, a good value, especially when on sale, and exceeds my expectations for all the data and storage requirements I need.

So far, so good. 2 weeks in using these in my Synology. Drives were connected, extended tested, passed, schucked, and put into the Synology.
