Lots of space to store games movies pictures and erase and record again awesome

Seem-less setup. You just plug in and follow the steps. Price is nice for the 4GB size. Transfer speed is better than average which is a nice bonus.

Got this for my son so he could download new games on an external hard drive for his x-box 1 rather than loading up the drive on the game console itself. Easy to connect and get it started and has download 2 games already. A great investment for avid game players.

This works perfectly well with the Xbox Series S and I am assuming it will with the Xbox Series X. It will allow you to copy apps and games and I assume movies, but I have none at the start of this review to check. It won't let you play straight off the hard drive the Xbox series S or X games but it will hold them for save if you just need to save them for later and download them at a later date to play. No hard drive at this time will allow you to do that but only the Seagate Storage Expansion card specifically for Series S and X which is a little pricey. However it will allow you to play Xbox One games and down straight off the hard drive and apps like Netflix and HBO MAX which I tried. The download speeds are fast. I assume it would let you play movies off the hard drive as well. All in all since at the time of this review no other hard drive is beyond the resources of this one, I say it is great. I just broke down and also bought a 1T Storage Expansion Card and will put most of my Series S games on that or my Xbox Series S.

It is just what we needed. Love the slim lines it fit better beside our X-Box. Literally plug and play.

After reading all great reviews, I purchased this for my son for Christmas. I know he will love it as he is out of memory for his 1tb. I got the 4tb for extra memory for just a little more $ I'm sure it will be well worth it.

Bought this drive because I ran out of room on my 1tb internal hard drive on my xbox one. Plugged in and needed to be formatted for xbox by following instructions on screen. Very easy to use.

My son was having difficulty with downloading a certain game on his Xbox One. We found out that the memory on his device was low and someone suggested buying one of these hard drives. Since purchasing it, my son hasn't had any issues with downloading games thus far. This hard drive has the ability to store up to 100 games. Connects easily to the game console. Highly recommended!

Does exactly what I needed it to do. Dosnt get much easier than plug in/yes or no/yes or no/name/ready to use. I highly suggest this for gamers who need an external for there games, movies & media apps.

Even with a 1 TB system, you'll run out of room fast. Thankfully, The XBox can connect 3 external harddrives to it, and I recommend picking up a 4 or even 8 TB harddrive to store your games on.

Great storage option for saving games on. I used to find myself always having to delete and reinstall my games due to storage issues and that can take a while but now that I have this it’s made things way more convenient. The transfer time is considerably faster and it’s another must have accessory for your Xbox game console.

Small, easy to use, good price for the amount of space!

Added this to my Xbox One's 1 TB HDD and it has been awesome. The console automatically does the formatting and setup, which takes just a few minutes. Downloading/transferring files naturally takes longer, but once it's done you have more space than most users will ever need, and from what I can tell everything runs and loads just as fast as the original hard drive.

These Seagate drives are awesome! The Xbox’s are woefully underdone when it comes to storage and the new “expansion card” for the Series X is kind of a fortune and a rip off. You can store so much more on this drive and just move files back and forth to the internal as needed. It’s silly to go any other way.
