Fully compatible with PS5. Before the procedure, more precisely, before touching the SSD, hold something metal (door handle, screwdriver bit, etc.) with your hands to eliminate static electricity from your body so that the SSD and PS5 are not damaged.

Excellent SSD for PS5 – fast and reliable I’m very happy with this Seagate Game Drive NVMe SSD. Installation in the PS5 was quick and straightforward, and the built-in heatsink fits perfectly. The console recognized the drive immediately and the speed test results were excellent. Game downloads, installations, and load times are noticeably fast, and having 2TB of extra storage makes a huge difference. I no longer need to constantly delete and reinstall games. The drive feels well-built and runs cool, even during long gaming sessions. Overall, this is a high-quality, reliable SSD and a great upgrade for PS5 owners. Definitely recommend!

This has been a life altering addition to my PS5 (first gen), and I've only had it a couple of weeks! No more having to constantly delete titles in order to make space for new ones. Can simultaneously keep my PS4 and PS5 titles and benefit from the drive's blazing fast read/write speeds. Install was so quick and easy, a grade schooler can do it. Just watched some tutorial videos on YouTube and did in in less than 5 minutes. I recommend watching them too, because there's a couple of nuances you need to follow to avoid damaging the pin connector. Formatting the drive took less than a minute.

My seagate internal ssd was such a good buy and it was so good that half the time i dont even have worry about storage. It was a simple installation and i was happy to have it work.

This game drive saved my ps5 I was at one tb already and couldn't store any more games on it, but now i have 3 tb its easy to install and has heatsink on it which I would recommend cause they are known to get hot playing

Needed to expand the storage on my 1st gen PS5. Attempted to buy an HDD to store things in, but it didn’t pan out. So I researched and found that the SSD stick drive was the best option. Easy to install/Hardest part was getting the PS5 faceplate off. One it was installed, I turned my PS5 back on and had it move everything to the new memory stick. 10/10 would definitely recommend

Upgrading my PS5 with the NVMe SSD was worth it. The extra storage is a huge plus, allowing more games to be installed and ready to play. Load times are quick, and games run just as smoothly as on the internal storage. Installing the SSD was easy. The upgrade has made managing games much easier, and I haven’t noticed any performance drops.

Wanted to get additional memory for my PS5 in preparation for the upcoming wave of games on my wishlist and this works great. Seems to download titles at the same speed as the internal memory and haven't had any performance issues so far. I would advise looking up a video guide to find where/how to install it. Would recommend
