If your looking for a good easy going game, then this is it. it plays like a side scrolling platform game and a 3d game rolled together. Not to difficult and can be played by most all gamer levels. You do have to repeat levels in order to get all the stars like in some of the previous Mario Brothers games but it is done much better than the other ones. And for 20 bucks it is well worth every penny!

I figured since this game is retailing for $20 brand new, it must be a pretty weak game considering Super Mario Maker and New Mario Bros U both retail for $60 still. But much to my surprise, this game has been fantastic! It's odd and quirky and overall just a fun game. The levels have a unique feel to them, they have a sidescroller feel to them while still being fully 3d. I'd say it almost feels like Crash Bandicoot at times. There's tons of level variety too with tons of new features (I won't spoil them). The game is easy to pick up for all ages, while still offering a challenge for players who look to 100% complete the game.

This is a great game for 1-2 young kids. Anything more than 2 players is difficult since there is a single screen, and players off screen are warped back onto the screen and can possible respawn in a area that will cause the loss of a life.

Think of this mario a beautiful hybrid of new Mario, and Super Mario 64. Levels are linear in the fasion of new super mario, but are 3D and able to walk in more than 2 directions. Levels have many hidden areas in each one even though they seem simple, there's a lot of secrets in each level its crazy! WiiU is dying for fun games, and this is no exception. Definitely extent the fun with friends and family as well, its 4 players!

Great game to put on with the kids or at a party. Easy to play with up to 4 players Simultaneously. It's like new super Mario bros but in 3D. I was hoping for more of a Mario Galaxy type game though.

Fans of previous 3D Mario titles or the DS Super Mario 3D World will have a heck of a time with this game. Exciting multiplayer action, beautiful graphics, imaginative worlds, and wide variation to the level design makes for a memorable experience. Every modern gamer owes it to themselves to dive into the light-hearted atmosphere of Mario 3D World and have a fantastic time.

This is a solid, enjoyable Mario title that only gets better the more friends you play with. Up to 4 people can control Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad, who all have different abilities. Beginners can use Peach's float to hover over obstacles, while veterans can use Toad's speed to grab items and secrets. The combinations of characters make each level fun to play and replay. Graphics are nice to look at without being distracting, and the music is in a delightful big-band style (recorded live! You can really tell). This game supports all Wii and Wii U controllers so it's easy to get everyone playing. Beginners can team up with friends and family for an easier time, while completionists can spend hours pursuing the multiple postgame worlds and their tough objectives. Those looking for vast, explorable environments would be better off with a different game, however. The quick, tightly-focused levels lend themselves very well to this style of play, but Super Mario 64 this is not. Really, at $20 this is a must-play for Wii U owners, especially fans of couch co-op.

Very fun game. The whole family enjoys it. Can be playing with Wii U pro controller & gamepad.

If you own a Wii U and have been waiting to purchase this game, now is the time. Its now a Nintendo Select so only $19.99 (even less if you have Best Buy's Gamers Club Unlocked). An interesting take on Mario, and you can play multiplayer co op which is a little frantic but very fun!!

I had such a great time playing this game. It stays true to what Mario is and definitely worth being a classic. I did find the game rather easy and it turned out to be a quick play. I purchased it for a 5 year old and he loves it.
