I previously owned a shredder from a different company which was supposed to shred 6 sheets at once. It did NOT. It could barely shred 2-3 sheets at a time, and the thing constantly stopped due to overheating. It totally quit working after about a year & a half. I purchased the Sentinel as a replacement. So far (one month) it works GREAT! I feel confident it will continue to do so. Obviously, this is not an appropriate shredder for a busy office. But for home use, it's perfect. Easily shreds 3-4 pages at a time, and has not clogged at all. Easy to empty, and the grinders can be emptied fairly well, leaving only a small number of shredded pieces behind.

I was looking for an upgrade for my home needs. I find this shredder fast although a little noisy. It does a great job.

I was looking for a deal when I bought this so I can't complain too much. It definitely does everything it says it does. Very powerful shredder, great for use at home. I wouldn't recommend it if you shred on a daily basis or a large amount at one time. A few things I thought of was the trash bin does NOT slide out.. it needs to be taken apart, there is not indicator that alarms when the bin is full, and it's pretty loud. But does have a powerful shred.

Have been on the watch for a paper shredder for a while as I was getting tired (physically and mentally) of ripping apart junk mail and old papers by hand. Saw this on sale and the reviews but was a little unsure as I had a bad experience previously with another paper shredder. But I took the risk. 10/10 would recommend. This shredder has some serious power and speed for the price. Paper gets shredded with confidence and with no worries about confidential information still showing. Be patient if there are paper jams, the reverse function is pretty effective. Another thing is bothersome but doesn't affect me so much is its quite loud but then again - this is a paper shredder and not an electric car.

I really like the compact size of this shredder. It is powerful and performs quickly. I found this to be a good price, efficient, and saves space in my office.

I bought this to shred the ridiculous amount of junk mail I receive, to help prevent identity theft. This shredder does a great job. It shreds a lot more sheets without needing to cool down than I expected. I had no trouble shredding credit cards. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Great product at a great price. Needed a shredder and did not know which one to buy. Chose the Sentinel and I could not be happier. Takes up to 12 sheets of paper at a time and takes credit cards. I highly recommend.

I haven’t used it a lot but it works well so far. It is a little loud but I don’t mind.

When my Royal stopped working, I had no idea what to replace it with. This Sentinel model seemed compatible to my routine of shredding junk mail, credit cards and applications, and personal papers. It's not fast for mass shredding (e.g., bulk sums at an office or business), but it works great for me in my home. I am satisfied with its price and functionality.

Easy to use. Only concern is it does jam fairly easy if paper is not properly aligned for shredding

This shredder is handling all the work I'm feeding it very easy.And it is doing a very good job of it.

It does the job well, and the chomping sound is so rewarding when getting rid of unwanted documents. Great value!

Small yet powerful. it will do 12 sheets as advertised . bin is smaller than expected but holds alot

I was looking for a good , yet not expensive shredder for home and the Sentinel fits the bill nicely. I can shred more documents quickly without machine jamming and love that it shreds old credit cards as well. Very satisfied with the product.

I was looking at this model and the other other model by the same company. This one does more sheets at a time and the other unit has a larger basket. This model doesn't really seem to shred as many sheets at a time as it says in the description. In hindsight, I should have bought the model with the larger basket.
