I have a service dog who is a minpin with short hair,I also have a collie -shepherd mix with long hair, who sheds alot and the Irobot is excellent I mean excellent I’m getting all the pet hair up. I would highly recommend this particular Irobot to anybody who has pets, children,busy working taking care of their family, cooking, etc.. The Irobot is an excellent addition to any household.Like I stated earlier,it does the work for you as far as vacuuming, you can just program it and let it go. It will dock itself and cleaning is so simple. Do yourself a favor, You will be happy that you did.

Got it for a good price, so I thought I'd give it a try...wish I would have just spent up.

Basically, it is lazy. Doesn't do much work (still 2 bars left) before returning to recharge. Crashes into things even after 'learning' the room. So it's more a babysitting job than I want. Also, it backs into the charger so needs to be removed to empty the debris bin. Too bad I tossed the packaging or it would go back.
