    Yes, this vacuum has the more suction power than my older Dyson - but the Power Detect features are challenging. The vacuum draws 1400+ watts of electricity at maximum running power - The power surges from detecting more dirt take time to engage and it always trips my electrical breakers in rooms where a TV or something else is running while the vacuum is plugged in. (And we have a new construction home).

That’s definitely not the experience we want for our customers, especially in a new home with modern wiring. The vacuum’s power surges during dirt detection shouldn’t be tripping breakers under normal conditions.     This vacuum is a dream. The suction is amazing. I'm not entirely convinced that the "boost" is doing anything but the vacuum works and maneuvers very well. Easy to set up and use.

    I’m very happy with the Shark- Power Detect vacuum. I really like the rug detection feature with just the push of a button. The assembly took no more than 5 minutes. The maneuverability is excellent and emptying is a breeze.

    I've owned several of the top of the line vacuums over the years, but this Shark vacuum is the best. It's so easy to use and picks up more cat hairs, dirt and crumbs than I knew were on my carpeting, area rugs, hardwood floor, and tile. I highly recommend this vacuum.

    Best vacuum I have owned! I hate one thing but it’s easy to get around it. One attachment doesn’t fit in the vacuum . It’s powerful, efficient, and easy to use. Matches up well to the big name of Dyson!
