I have been using a much older upright vacuum. This Shark has a self propelled feel that surprised me at first. I love it now! Unit is powerful and good at what it does. Lots of attachments for various jobs. Haven't used them all yet, but ones I have work fine. Seems to be well made.

Love ths. The ease of switching attachments is great. Able to get all the spots where dog hair hides, ie, underbeds and couches. Love the cord length.

Been using this for a few weeks. Alot of suction. So much better than my Kenmore.

The swivel feature makes it easy to move around furniture, walls, etc. Quieter than any previous models I have owned. Easy to empty. Appears to be very well made.

Great suction...I'm amazed at what it picks up. It's not as loud as most vacuums, is light, and the angles you can hit with it are excellent. Definitely worthwhile.

My first shark ever!! lot of power great suction, easy to maneuver canister removes for stairs ect long cord! and the price is right ,I recommend this vacume to all my freinds

My prior wind tunnel style vacuum would lose suction as soon as it had 3-4 inches of dirt, lint, etc in the canister. This one did not lose suction at all. It is nice having all the attachments, and also the lift off style main unit.

Easy to use. So far so good. Will see how long it will be hold.

Great suction, looks beautiful, love the attachments and ability to become handheld or a canister. However, it's pretty heavy, and the cord doesn't automatically rewind.

Bought this to replace my wife's Dirt Devil Ultra Vision self-propelled. This Shark has far more vacuum power and is lighter. I love the feature that has separate buttons to start the vacuum without the beater running and then another switch to turn on the beater if desired. Plus the Lift-Away system is great when she wants to use the wand for corners both high and low. If this thing lasts even half as long as our old Dirt Devil it'll be worth the money. The only negative versus our old vac is this Shark is noticeably narrower.

This is an excellent vacuum with powerful suction for an upright! Love how it cleans deep into carpet. Almost makes you want to clean.

We replaced our Hoover with this vacuum and are very pleased. Easy to clean and powerful. Would recommend to others

Had previous Shark vacuums so I had high expectations! This one is wonderful. Great suction and pickup on hardwood and carpet.

This is an all around great vacuum cleaner with multiple configurations and uses. Does wood floor to carpet, stairs to furniture and corners to archways in the easiest way possible. Even under fridge, stove, and sofas, nothing is likely to be missed, it does it all. Excellent maneuvering and power, easily changes to desired option for task at hand. Very happy with purchase, would highly recommend.

My previous wind tunnel vacuum would lose suction quickly. This one does great. Love the attachments and portability.

I switched from a dyson to this shark and I am very impressed with it's sucking power and the amount of dirt is has picked up. I used it after sweeping with the dyson and was amazed at the amount of dirt still in my carpet. I am sold on this sweeper. It was recommended from a friend and he was absolutely right. Only issue was that in the description, it states that it includes an accessory bag and a multi angle dusting brush. Neither were included with my purchase.

I have a $1600 Hyla vacuum. I vacuumed my living room thoroughly with the Hyla before using the Shark. The Shark collected 1/3 of the capacity of the dirt cup immediately after using the Hyla. It's a bit cumbersome to use and store with all the parts, but quite versatile. It does a great job cleaning, and is easy to separate and reconnect all the parts.
