I've had a Dyson upright vacuum for 10+ years that gradually stopped working well, and then I replaced it with a cheaper Shark model 3 years ago and was impressed with how much better it worked. Then that vacuum broke down recently where the brush motor worked but the vacuum (sucking action) failed. Despite that short lifespan I felt that Shark vacuums were the right choice and invested in this top-model Shark, and it is simply awesome. I've used it twice and the brush has no dog hair in it, which is impressive given it's summer and we have a golden retriever. It picks up tons of dog hair from carpet that I thought was relatively clean, and it made our nasty hair-coated rug look newish again. It just better last longer than 3 years!

If you have arm, wrist or back problems, this is not the vacuum for you. As soon as you release the machine from the locked upright position, the heavy weight of everything but the cleaning head, falls into you hand. Maneuvering is clumsy and hard on wrist and arms. The cleaning head seems small and light weight. The suction is good. I do not understand the logic of this design. It locks upright quickly and becomes an issue when the machine is being used. I am sorry I purchased this. I researched it before I bought it. How did I miss this poorly designed wrist hurting machine.

great power and suction for cleaning. Well worth the money

This is my 3rd Shark. I love the fact the hair no longer gets stuck in the rollers. We had dogs, and I have the Shark Stick vac and for a whole house the dirt trap was just two small. This one is great. I can do my whole house before having the empty.

I recently got the Shark Stratos vacuum, and it's amazing! This vacuum cleans both carpets and hard floors really well. It picks up everything, even the tiny bits of dust and dirt. One thing I love is how it easily moves from one type of floor to another without any issues. It also has a special feature that stops hair from getting tangled, which is perfect for homes with pets or long-haired family members.

I am very happy with this vacuum. Thus far it does a great job. I have 2 dogs and a cat, seems to get the fur up and all the dust

I am very happy with the way this vacuum picks up the dog hairs (she sheds year round and her white hairs cling/stick onto every surface) and also catches small kibble and other small dropped pieces (uncooked rice/beans etc). My previous one used to shoot those pieces across the floor instead of picking them up so I was amazed at all the pieces I don't have to pick up extra. The pick up power is impressive to me. If I had known it collects pet hair this good I would have bought it much earlier. I couldn't believe how much hair came out of the carpets after switching to this vacuum cleaner. Would buy again and recommend to pet parents who also deal with lots of shedding.

Married for 50 years, we've gone through quite a number of vacuum cleaners..... a lot. Most worked fairly well in the beginning but later failed to clean thoroughly. We have a 3 level (floors) home and I bought 3 of these vacuums. This model has the strongest suction power and cleans better than any vacuum we've ever owned.

Best Vacuum I have owned, by far worth the investment. Easy to clean and keep going, the odor neutralizer smells fine, not sure when I will need to replace it all but so far so good. No issues, Only thing I wish is that the brush extension worked with other universal tools, having a hard time finding a brush (soft) extension for the handheld.

Before purchasing this vacuum i had a well known brand of vacuum touting "no loss suction" and "whirlwind technology." This shark i just purchased showed me that i did the right thing replacing the old one because it "sucked,so no loss" and the as for the old one's "whirlwind technology... " it was "blown away." Using this shark vacuum is like driving a top-end luxury sports car. You want to drive it fast as it can go but instead you drive it slow because you want everyone to see you in it.

So, I got this Stratos Upright Vacuum, and let me tell you, it’s a beast, especially when it comes to cleaning up after my two basset hounds. Their hair gets everywhere, especially on the carpet, but this vacuum sucks it all up like magic. The brush roll is like a ninja, getting deep into the carpet to pull out every last strand of hair. Plus, it’s got this HEPA filter thing that traps all the gross stuff, so my room doesn’t smell like dog anymore. If you’ve got pets and carpet, this vacuum is a total lifesaver.

I love this vacuum. Works very well with animals. However, at 10 months, it stopped working. Will not turn on. Has been well taken care of, cleaned appropriately, etc. most expensive shark I've purchased, also the only shark that stopped working before I'd owned it for at least 5 years. Will not purchase another shark.

We have a Yellow Lab! Do I have to say more: This pet is smart, beautiful, happy all the time, wanting to please. However, she sheds more hair than any other breed of Canines! This Shark Stratos model is the best vacuum cleaner we have found! The tools we purchased for this Vacuum, makes it the most proficient and efficient hair removal system we have ever used cleaning our floors; carpeting, tiles and wooden. The latest and greatest to date 06.23.2024.

This vacuum does what it says. It somehow doesnt tangle hair in the rollers. Its like some magic show whrn you remove the dirt and see the hair neatly rolled on a cone that falls right put with the dirt. Warning!! Keep the cord away from the vacuum head…its such a powerful vacuum that it will chew up the plastic cord coating.

Perfect for dog hair and changes levels for hardwood and high/low carpets- the detachable option works well for stairs and has a nice clean smell from the filter cartridge !

It has worked wonderfully. The suction is great and strong. I've used it as a supplement to my iRobot. With 3 dogs in the house, we have a lot of hair. The Shark was bought specifically to get the nooks and crannies and extra hair the iRobot didn't get.

This is the. Best vacuum ever. Works on my floor, carpet, blinds, sofa and it’s very easy to use. You can connect and disconnect the bag and clean under the sofa. It’s amazing
