The Shark Stratos Upright is an awesome vacuum. It does an incredible job... really pulls the dirt out of the carpet. And does a good job on hardwood floors. An excellent purchase.

Excellent handling, but a little heavy. Great suction power. I would buy again.

Super easy to assemble the only thing is that it’s a bit heavy and missing a tool I would use a lot a dusting brush tool.

It seems to be a well produced, substantial product. I found the vac to be heavy and a bit awkward. On the plus side, it seems to contain dust, the pieces fit together well. It has a learning curve to the use of it. I like the odor neutralizer, since I have dust allergies. . It quit the second or third time I used it, but Shark worked me through it, Customer service rep did a great job working me thru it, and I appreciate it, and I feel more acquainted with the ins and outs of the machine (even tho I read the manual and couldn't get how it died). It was a matter of not inserting the wand quite right.

Lot of power for an upright vacuum cleaner. Comes a part for easy carrying for wall and couch cleaning.

Vacuum was easy to assemble. Lift away is convenient for cleaning steps places up high. I would recommend this item for purchase

This is our second Shark. We have two Australian Shepherd dogs and have to vacuum at least twice a day. Our first lasted 6 years with a hard workout!!!

Vacuumed my hallway and a small bedroom with my older Dyson. Then I vacuumed again with the Shark Stratos. I got a whole canister full. How is that even possible? The Shark Stratos is a beast. I vacuumed carpet, large rugs, hard wood floors and stairs. The swivel steering is easy to maneuver. The lift away canister makes it easier to get into tighter spaces even under the bed. All the different release buttons are clearly labeled and work smoothly. The canister held a reasonable amount of dirt. I emptied it after each room. The length of the hose did not cause me any problems. For me it was so much lighter and easier to maneuver than my old dyson and Kenmore uprights. The weight at 17lbs is not a problem at all for me. I swept my stairs using the lift away power nozzle and canister. It was so easy. I’m sure the key to longevity with any vacuum is to treat it with care and keep it clean. I was cautious not to bang it into things and wiped the dust off of everything including inside the dust bin after using. Getting it on sale for $150 off retail was an added bonus. This Consumer Reports number one rated upright vacuum is all that and more. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The Best Buy rep who helped me was also amazing.

The vacuum is nice, but loud, not as good as the older models but I would recommend it. I wouldn't recommend Best Buy they have gone down hill and total tech is rude and sourced out to India. I am no longer shopping at Best Buy I am telling everyone I know how bad the company has gotten.

I ordered this online, and it arrived damaged, so I had to pack it back up and return it. They didn't have one in stock, so I had to order a replacement. I've had both Dyson and SHARK and I prefer the SHARK. I currently have (2) other SHARK vacuums and the suction power one this one is GREAT, and I love not having to deal with cutting off dog hair from the roller. The only thing I'm not real fond of is how the handle switches are. Other than that, a GREAT vacuum so far.

Best vacuum I've ever had (and I've had a lot of them)! I've had a Kirby(cumbersome, stupid heavy), Dyson (ok, but doesn't work nearly as well), lots of bag and bag less models too. By far, this is the best one we have ever bought. We waited 4 months before reviewing and we have put it through the paces with our sandy yard, two dogs (one with long white hair) and dark blue area rug. All the attachments actually work, Even the upholstery cleaner actually works, with real suction! I definitely recommend this item.

I’d been looking for a good vacuum for my carpeted rooms. This vac has plenty of suction, while still being easy to push. It’s surprisingly light and easy to maneuver. Works great on the tile floors and also the hardwood. It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for , for a long time. I was a hard core Dyson user, but not anymore! The Shark has made my life much easier and cleaner!

This shark Vacuum is a little pricy but works great. No more need to clean long hair from roller

I bought one for my daughter in 2023. It worked very well so I bought another for myself.

I purchased this vacuum in early June, replacing a 15 year old upright bag less. The suction and roller-bar operation are excellent. The light weight makes it very easy to operate, even on stairs. The only potential improvement would be a retractable power cord.

Picks up cat hair well and moves easily. Attachments are a little rigid or awkward to use.

We’ve had this vacuum for over a year and it’s literally the best vacuum that exists in this universe.
