So far I love everything about my new Shark. My daughter and I have really long hair so I love the self-cleaning brush roll. I also love the attachment for pet hair on furniture, we have a cat so it was a huge selling point. I had a Dyson for 12 years prior but I'm happy I decided on the change to a shark.

Powerful vacuum

Has tons of pickup power and cleaned an unbelievable amount of hair out of the rugs. My complaints are that the hose is too short in order to clean high or out of reach places and it is bulky and difficult to move. But the power is amazing and I would probably buy it again!

Reduced suction after 2.5 years

I regularly maintenance it, cleaning all the filters and replacing as necessary. There are no clogs or blocking debris. One day while using it I noticed that it was much quieter than usual and wasn’t picking up very much. Eventually replaced with another brand that includes a light to see whats on the floor and I was disgusted with the amount of pet hair and dust that was on the floor. It looked like it had not been cleaned in years and I vacuum every other day. After replacing this vacuum with another brand my allergies have started to settle significantly. I put too much faith in this vacuum and regret buying it.
