Fantastic Black Friday Purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Totally satisfied. For $99 (plus tax), it is everything you can ask for in Smart TV. The delivery from Best Buy was speedy quick. Great crisp graphics for a 720p and the sound quality is very good, no need for a sound bar. The Roku itself is worth every penny. The Sharp brand name is a plus as it recognizable company with a good reputation than from lesser known manufacturers. We get all the subscription channels (Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu) and our Xfinity shows (although I don’t know about other cable companies) plus free program content including iHeart radio and Pandora and a slew of others. Fairly easy setup (although it might be confusing for those with little to no technology knowledge). Worked right out of the box. Although the remote takes some getting used to. It is located in our small living room. Really couldn’t ask for a better quality TV with all the bells and whistles at this price point. I wish I would have bought 2 more at the $99 price. If I could give it a higher score rating I would. I can’t understand the poor or lesser scoring reviews (other than broken or faded corners upon receiving as that was most likely a shipping problem, what may be a bad unit or one star off for the remote). Perhaps those with larger TV sets with 1080p and other features were expecting much more. However, you can’t expect a higher end TV that sells for two to three times or more for such a bargain basement price or even those that are the same size without the Roku. There was no need for a separate Roku charge as some have indicated.

Great value
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I call his tv a millennial tv because the remote is so small and has so few options. But really it's a great and easy to use remote. The whole roku system is easy to set up and use and I love switching from app to app. The TV itself is nice and cute at 32". Easy to set up from box to use in minutes. Resolution is great. The color and the sound are good. GREAT deal for your money.

HULU tv: needs time to operate
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tv as a replacement for my old Sharp 32" that died after 11 years. The tv itself is fine in my first month of operation. The 2-leg stand is much more stable than the flimsy middle stands on other and larger tv's. The picture and sound are fair enough for a tv in this price class. If you are hooking the tv up to traditional antenna or a cable provider, it's a good little tv for a second room. The problem for me is using the HULU system. If you just hook up to an internet connection and attempt to use Hulu and all the "free" channels provided, be prepared to spend a lot of attention and time to set it up. You must have a Hulu (and others) account. Then on that account, you must download the media providers you want to use... Once set up, it's several steps to just watch a channel. The upside however, is you are getting tv without the cost of a cable or dish package. If you do subscribe to a cable tv provider and plan to operate the tv with an app and your phone as the remote, you won't receive all of the channels as does your main tv. The remote provided is small and certainly not conventional and easy to use: There are no numbers on the remote so you can't just input a channel number and you must go to the numbers screen on the tv. I have the tv hard wired to an internet connection, so I am not able to test it's Wi-Fi capabilities. Bottom line: this is not your Grandmother's tv, and is difficult to adapt to if that's what you (or your guests perhaps) are expecting. The operation of the tv itself is fine for a tv in this price range, and the picture quality and sound seems to be better than some other brands. If you are hooking it up to a cable box with a provided remote, it's fine. It's using the Hulu provider that proves to be time consuming and difficult at times. *I also disabled the microphone function just in case someone decided to listen to the room where the tv is located. As it's a tv connected to the internet, the Hulu service provider will always have an active connection to your tv and will be able to follow the channels you have selected to use.

Sharp Roku Smart TV has great features
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV for a bedroom and the size and picture quality was very good. The only thing that I don't like is that they give you a Roku remote control and I really would like to have numbers on the remote. It is very difficult to use this remote to just try to change channels. I have my Spectrum remote and it doesn't seem to be compatible with that feature. Is there a remote I can buy that would do this?

Still working well
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned it for a couple of years now and still working fine. Perfect size for the bedroom. Just a couple of things that I don't like: (1) The Roku remote is horrible -- it doesn't have any number buttons for the channels; only has the forward/backward buttons on the side of the remote to surf channels. (2) The volume drastically increases in some apps. I've noticed that the sound becomes louder during commercials when we're streaming through the Hulu app. It can be quite annoying having to constantly readjust the volume in between commercial breaks. I've tried looking for a way modify and balance the sound through the TV settings but nothing has worked so far. For pros, I do like that it has both an HDMI and USB ports that allow me to connect the TV to other devices. It's also quite easy to find and download the apps that you want to add and there's a homepage where you can see all the apps that you have. Set-up is more user-friendly than a Vizio TV.

Sharp 32 in Roku TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received the Sharp 32 in Roku TV today. This is my first Roku tv so I’ll review as I see it. First, the remote control has no numbers to directly input the desired channel, I’ve never encountered that in the past. Now, the tv itself is to my liking from the start. It’s lightweight, nicely wrapped in edge to edge black TV is brand new, but as it powered up it had to download new software, I don’t get it... Logging into Netflix and Hulu wasn’t too bad and the scan of my OTA channels took only a few minutes. So far so good

Good inexpensive tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tv has a good picture for the price. I don't have cable or internet and it picks up a lot of channels. My only complaint is the remote does not have numbers to go to a specific channel although you can go to the menu and pick a channel from there. Overall a good tv for a spare room or some where that you just need a tv that you wont use all the time.

It's a good TV at a budget price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a nice TV, once it's up and running. Picture quality is good and it picks up quite a few over-the-air channels. It works just fine for watching YouTube or Netflix as well. Initial setup is not as straight forward as it should be and takes a while. The remote could use a few more buttons.

Great TV for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy set up. Has good and loud speakers. Only complaint is it very easy to accidentally mute the TV as the volume control is on the right side of the remote?

Nice TV For Exercise Room
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this TV on sale for my exercise room and for the price it surpassed my expectations. It is a great smart TV with only one drawback being a horrible remote control. You can't access channels directly and have to dig through menus to access functions. I like the feature that allows you to pause and rewind live TV with the addition of a flash drive.

Tv is great Remote out so much
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV it self works great ! The remote sucks ! You can not actually choose a channel with out a lot of crap. It was easy to set up. We bought it for bedroom so at least it’s not our main tv. Also we thought the Roku would be great because we already have roku & that part is great.

Great Picture
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, I like the TV, but recently while watching, the volume was changing on its own by going from louder to softer. The first time, I thought it was me, and a moment later, it did it again. I have not had this happen since, but I am leery to recommend this tv since I am not sure if it was the program, or the TV.

Great Picture but
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a very good TV. I have 2 of them exactly alike. The only shortcoming is the remote. The volume control and mute button is on the side edge of the remote so you may accidentally press it while holding the remote.

||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great tv for the price. Good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV is good, but remote should have numbers for the channels. That is very confusing for seniors to operate with no number channels. Thank you
