The Simzlife ice maker is probably the coolest-looking machine that produces the coolest-looking ice pieces. The unit itself already looks almost "alienic" and is an attention-grabber by itself. But, of course, what matters even more is its product. Those large ice spheres draw the attention of our guests and often are "ice-breakers" and "conversation-starters". I must say it feels like they improve the taste perception of drinks, although that could be just a "placebo" thing. It is definitely a keeper.

Made ice quickly, but it does leak a bit more than the drip pan can hold - need to place it where you can clean spills if needed. I purchased knowing I'd have to find a place for it as it is too tall to fit under my kitchen cabinets, so be aware of that. Also, the ice spheres weren't totally solid and I found that the ice didn't last as long as ice spheres made with silicone molds.

Not exactly what I expected. Ice spheres are not really round and melt quickly after formed. I wouldn’t recommend this unit.

I have been seeing the clear ice ball makers for a while online. I got a great price on this one and I am very happy with it. The ice is produced as quickly as stated. The machine is a bit bigger than I thought but it still fits where I want it. I didn't really measure for it.

I gave this ice maker as a Christmas gift and it was a big hit.we tried it out that night and it worked perfectly. Used bottled water and the ice came out crystal clear.

Worked one time and then would never turn on again. Customer service for this product is nonexistent so you will be on your own if it doesn’t work.

Bought this as a Christmas present but it was damaged in shipping. Could be a great ice maker but I have to return it.
