We love the skylight camera. You can definitely go without the subscription for every day use but the subscription does add some fun additional features. Our family can easily see what’s coming up for the week and the kids get excited to see their weekend plans. Highly recommend for any family with kids or multiple activities throughout their week.

I love this, it’s so convenient that I can link it to my phone calendar so everything automatically uploads and when it’s not in use, it just cycles through photos i’ve chosen.

This is a great product for family organization! Every person gets their own tabs, there's to-do lists, chore charts, a synced calendar, and meal planning features. On top of that, it works as a digital photo frame when in "sleep mode".

The Skylight Calendar is very user friendly. It’s very easy to see. Being able to color code for family members is a great feature.

The unit is great. It should come with something to secure the cord to the wall. It just hangs loosely and is unsightly.

Great product. Screen looks nice and definitely helped with organization. Only annoying thing is you have to pay $40 a year for photos.

Makes life so much easier. Put all your meetings, payment dues etc and you will always know when and whats going on daily

Took me a minute to get my calendar to sync but got it and love it so much. The picture slideshow is the best since I wanted a electronic picture frame And this did this.

I originally bought this item, because I wanted to store my calendar in a location other than my computer and smartphone. I use Microsoft Outlook for my calendar back end, so setting this device up was a little more challenging. The subscription service for this device functioned really well - every calendar item I had emailed to the personalized email address appeared on my calendar within seconds. The reason I rated this calendar two stars, is because when I went to back up the contents of my calendar so I could have an offline copy, I learned from their support department that the calendar export feature is currently in the "experimental" phase. I also learned to my dismay, that using Microsoft Outlook as a calendar back end did not provide two-way synchronization functionality with this device. I only learned this fact after pouring through the Microsoft support forum. The lack of two-way synchronization with Microsoft Outlook, and the export feature being "experimental" was the ultimate deal breaker for me. I have now gone back to storing my calendar on my smartphone, and have recycled this device to my local Goodwill since I can no longer use it.

This calendar is amazing. My children love the chore function. Ever since I bought it my family has been more organized. Can’t wait to use this during the school year.

Excellent resource to stay organized with work and family. My kids love it and we all enjoy the slide show feature. Unfortunately the one I ordered online did not get delivered to my house and I had to go and purchase it at the store but that was not Beat Buys fault.

She's a systems engineer, so she's picky about tech. When she did the setup, she realized how much it helps with meetings and dates and the kids' schedule. She loves it!

I like it but I thought it was going to be able to send notifications to my phone or something other than that it’s just a good calendar and photo frame

Not very many options available for convenience. For instance you can’t have recurring events that are adjustable like a nurse works 3 shifts a week on different days not every week is the same, if there was an options to edit events to make adding 7am-7pm events on certain days and an option to delete make one day if needing to switch days without having to delete the entire event and start over. It’s not thought out very well it’s basically like a big outlook calendar which is already free on iPhone, if I’m paying 200 bucks for a nice digital calendar then I would expect lots of features you can’t even see the whole month’s events because the fonts are just 3 sizes. If you have more than 4 things in one day you have to click on each day individually just to see what’s going on the particular day.

Love the calendar, the options it provides. It was a great gift! I do wish that it didn't cost to use some of the options.
