The Skylight Calendar is a cool concept where you can see all your calendar events. Adding my first calendar was simple. I was able to add a gmail calendar fairly easy. Adding the second was tricky to find but I eventually was able to add another. My work calendar on exchange is giving me trouble which is what I want this for. It is not syncing at all with it. I like that you can assign chores, events or diner plans. There is a subscription service for other features which I hate that allows you to add pictures, videos ect. When I say I hate I mean I hate subscriptions to devices. They are making a feature that allows you to sync a calendar on a tv. Firestick shows up which makes me think it works with it. When I select other devices like apple tv or Samsung tv, it indicates its in development. If you want a family calendar to organize your family, this is great. If you want it for exchange, it may not be the device as it is not working for me. For me, everything this calendar offers I already have on my smart hub refrigerator and echo show.
Thanks for your feedback! We're working on improving calendar sync, including with Exchange. We hear you on subscription preferences and expanding device compatibility. Stay tuned for updates! If you need assistance, please reach out to our support team at [email protected].

The Skylight Calendar is a touchscreen display that displays a calendar, chores and other lists. It's a great way for your family to keep track of all their appointments, birthdays, and other important dates at a glance. It has a built-in speaker for simple alerts, auto-brightness, a responsive touchscreen and even a sleep mode.
You’ll be able to sync multiple calendars via an easy-to-use phone app that’s available on both Android and Apple phones. Using the device is also pretty easy and intuitive, and having the ability to make chore lists that family members can check off is also a wonderful feature. Here are some pros and cons that I found while reviewing the Skylight and then my overall thoughts.
Pros:
Easy to set up and use
Elegant design
Responsive, high-quality display
Can be synced with several calendars, including Google, Apple, Yahoo, etc
Automatically updates with your calendar events
Can also be used as a photo frame
Can be wall mounted or used on a counter
Cons:
Expensive
Display could be brighter and have better viewing angles
Overall:
The Skylight Calendar is a big and beautiful digital frame that acts as your family’s organization center. With the capability to share multiple calendars, chore lists and to-do lists, this device will help keep your family on track and on the same page. Whether you hang it on the wall or use it on a counter, it’ll be an easy-to-use and visible place for your family to check every day.
Sure, this may be a completely unnecessary device, but if you want something cool that replaces a whiteboard on the fridge, then I recommend checking out the Skylight.
Thank you for your detailed review of the Skylight Calendar! We're glad to hear you find it easy to use and appreciate its elegant design. Your feedback is valuable, and we're continuously working to enhance our products. We're thrilled that the Skylight Calendar helps keep your family organized, and we appreciate your recommendation. If you have any further feedback, feel free to reach out.

Getting this with the plus subscription is worth it. Very easy to add calendars and color code it for different family members. Great for teaching kids to do chores with its reward system. The app syncs with everyone in the family so always know what the calendar is for everyone. Acts as a picture frame as well. We love it!!

I'm actually impressed. Setup took maybe 10 minutes—download the app, sync your Google/Apple/Outlook calendars, done. The 15" screen is big enough that my whole family can see it from across the kitchen.
Best part? No more "what time is soccer?" questions every five minutes. Everyone's schedules are color-coded right there on the wall. I can add events from my phone while I'm out, and it syncs instantly. The chore chart feature actually gets my kids to do their tasks because they love checking stuff off on the touchscreen. Plus you can email PDFs directly to it—I sent my daughter's gymnastics schedule and it populated everything automatically. That's wild.
You can link multiple calendars together if you want one upstairs and one in the kitchen, which is pretty slick for bigger houses. They mirror each other so changes show up everywhere.
Now the downsides. You'll need the Plus subscription ($40-79/year) for the good stuff like meal planning and photo screensaver. And it's gotta stay plugged in all the time—no battery backup, which is annoying if the power goes out. The cord's long though. Also kinda heavy for wall mounting, so make sure you hit a stud.
Important note: if you're mainly wanting to share photos with grandparents across the country, you actually want their Frame product instead. The Calendar can show photos as a screensaver, but it's built for scheduling. The Frame is what lets you send pics to family in other states and do the whole digital card thing.
Is it a want, not a need? Absolutely. But if you've got a busy household and you're tired of being the human calendar, this thing genuinely helps. Just wait for a sale.

I’ve been using the Skylight Calendar 15" Touchscreen Smart Calendar for a little while now and overall it’s been a helpful addition to the house. The 15-inch screen is a great size—large enough to see the schedule clearly but still compact enough to fit nicely on the wall or counter. The touchscreen is easy to use and syncing calendars makes it convenient for keeping everyone organized. My only wish is that it included a few more features without needing extra subscriptions, but overall it’s a solid product that does a good job helping manage daily schedules.

I really enjoy using this calendar as a great way to keep our household on the same page. The ability to display photos when not in use is a fantastic touch. We prefer to keep ours on the counter because the cord hanging off the wall is a bit of an eyesore.
The setup process is fairly straightforward, but I did run into some challenges with integrating the Apple iCalendar. It’s not as simple as I’d hoped, and I had to search the internet for troubleshooting tips.
I ended up opting for the year membership because of the meal planning and grocery list features. While these are newer and still have a few kinks to work out, they’re a great concept and add a lot of value.
Overall, I think this calendar is worth the investment. It makes it so much easier to stay organized compared to using paper calendars or whiteboards where things often get lost and aren’t accessible on the go. This device offers both simplicity and convenience, making it easy—and even enjoyable—for everyone in the house to track their schedule and stay organized.

I am an employee of Best Buy and as a busy family of 4, the Skylight calendar has been a lifesaver! The setup was quick and the instructions were easy to follow. Our family officially ditched the written calendar on the fridge and was up and running within 15 minutes! The Magic Import feature allowed me to submit a photo of my handwritten calendar to the Skylight team who converted everything and automatically updated the Skylight calendar.
The calendar is easy to navigate and quickly syncs with many other calendar apps. The color categorization makes schedules easy to follow and my husband now has our schedule with him at all times! Thank you Skylight for simplifying our schedules and making this busy mom’s life a lot easier!

This Skylight Calendar has been a fantastic addition to our home! The 15″ touchscreen makes it super easy to view and manage our family’s schedule, to-dos, grocery lists, and chore charts all in one place. Setup was quick, and it syncs smoothly with Google, iCloud, and other calendars through the app—no puzzling tech headaches. The touchscreen is responsive and looks great on the counter or mounted on the wall. Most of the features are intuitive right out of the box and really help keep everyone on the same page. A couple of features are behind an optional subscription, but the core calendar functions are worth it on their own. Highly recommend for busy households!

My wife has wanted one of these for a while, and now after having one for a few weeks, I see why. Our kids now tackle chores with gusto & want to do chores to earn rewards, and the Skylight Calendar makes it easy to track their progress. Our calendars on our phones can sync up to the Skylight calendar easily so that we can more easily see each other's calendar. And the kids love seeing appointments & practices on the calendar color-coded for them individually. This is a great product for organizing all the things going on in the family.

This device was a questionable purchase at 1st not knowing if the office would accept it. After 2 days in the office on the wall it is full of appointments and time off daily inputs from all employees and supervisors. Excellent choice and works very well. Easy input of any and all individuals…..

Well designed display for family calendar and tasks. App works well. Easy for kids to use and motivating icons for chores. Wish there was a way to use meal planning without subscription. Nice size for the kitchen.

LOVE IT!!!!! It's a must for individuals or families with busy lifestyles! I am able to track my children's school schedules, work, and personal affairs just by taking a picture of the noted event! And to top it off, it's colored, coordinated, and can be linked to any calendar... and so much more!! Just out videos on YouTube!

Excellent product - my wife uses it to keep the kids chore charts centralized and keep our family calendar centralized. It has a lot of great functionality from storing recipes, being able to view them while cooking, accessing multiple shared calendars, chore charts, gold star functions. I will say it does feel a bit overpriced but, that’s likely to me not having tinkered with all of the features yet! Looking forward to seeing what I can unlock.

This digital calendar helps me out quite a bit! It syncs with my phone (Google calendar) so is a visible reminder of upcoming plans/appointments/birthdays, etc. When it's not doing that it displays pictures that I have downloaded to it. My wife passed about a month ago and while it can never replace her, it's the next best thing.

I love this device! I have 5 adults in one home and we need to coordinate many different schedules. The shared calendar is awesome. But now everyone uses the meal planning schedule as well. We used to use Cozi to share shopping lists but this has replaced that. And I love the chores feature to remind everyone whose turn it is to clean the kitchen! It’s a little pricey but I think it may be worth it. The photo scrolling screensaver is a nice bonus too.
