What is there not to love about this tv? EXCELLENT picture quality, SURROUND sound! I keep it on real low so as to not be too loud. Lots of features. The SIZE is PERFECT!

Lovely picture on TV. Perfect for gaming! But speakers where not what we used to so purchase a sound bar now it's sound is great!

For the price this is a great TV. It has great sound and color for someone who is a little tech savvy. The only downside that I can see is that there is only one set of composite jacks. If you have multiple audio/video components that can not use a HDMI hookup then you have a problem. Other than that the TV is great.

I shopped around looking at picture quality, sound quality and price for over a month. This tv has the picture and sound of ones twice the price. It's light weight and the picture is only surpassed by the 4K ultra hd tv's. If you get this tv you will not be disappointed.

I was looking to upgrade my 32 inch TV I was looking for a 50 inch but when I saw this 49 inch on sale I jumped all over it I must admit this is one of my Best Buys not to mention I got it from Best Buy thank you so much I looked at a lot of stores and nobody came close to that price I love my new TV it's very lightweight and it took no time to hook it upso if you're thinking about it think no more go ahead and grab your TV for 299 you won't be disappointed

I bought it for my cabin on the river. I don't have Internet down there so I didn't need all the bells and whistles of a smart tv. The picture is great it's very sleek and nice design I love it we are thinking of buying another for the bed room and one for my back deck

Even though it isn't a smart tv I get commented on how big it looks for being a 49". It is clear and the sound is WOW! I don't even have to go past volume 8 for it to be loud. Best deal I have seen so far.

I love my Toshiba have a 40" in my man cave room that why I got this one could not believe the price .

Would totally get this again. I'm using it for my outside patio. Perfect size for viewing from across the yard !

I just purchased this TV to hang on the wall of my bedroom. I can't believe a TV of this size/quality is this cheap. Granted, it isn't a "smart" tv, but I already had a Roku stick that I love and works perfectly with it. This TV is thin and light and looks great on my wall. I was actually surprised that the sound is as good as it is. Because it is in my bedroom, I'm only using the built-in TV speakers and they really do the job well! The only *VERY minor* complaint is that I can't use custom names for the inputs. It only let's you choose from a list. So, I can set HDMI 1 to "Satellite" which is fine, but I would like to be able to spell out "Roku" for HDMI 2. Instead, I get to choose from a list of 5-6 things and NONE of them fit. It is 2016. One of the options is "VCR". Really? MANY more people would rather have "Streaming Media Player" or something similar if they aren't going to allow you to spell out your own input name. Again, a VERY minor thing that I wouldn't even call a problem. Great TV for the money. I picked up this 49" model in January 2016 for $350.

I bought this TV as a gift for my grandparents so I had the honor of hooking it up and testing it. This TV is amazing. The picture is very clear and there is no lag whatsoever. Compared this TV in store with a Sharp for slightly more $ (both in store were the smaller size). Picture was just as good but Toshiba price and reviews were better. I have had Toshiba laptops for the last 15 years so I know they are good quality and was confident of their LCD technology due to this. The purchase really made me want to buy one for myself at this price, but I just don't need an additional TV at this time. My TV is a "smart TV" and while the picture is good, there are drawbacks such as significant lag in using smart features and the picture and sound. This TV is so basic, which I think is highly beneficial. If you want a "smart TV", buy this and add a Roku, Apple, Chromecast, etc and add it on. You'll come out ahead with both products. Thanks again Toshiba!

Needed a thinner and lighter tv than my current 46" Panasonic PLASMA (69lbs) it was very heavy, and I was not comfortable placing it on the wall with kids around. So I was in search of a TV with the same or bigger screen size on a strict budget. This Toshiba weighs less than 30lbs, (thats over half the weight of my 46". And it has a very thin bezel, depth is much smaller than my old tv. Its very easy to hang, 3 HDMI's and Component/RCA Video connections. Im very happy with the TV. it will take some time getting use to the 60hz refresh rate over the 600hz plasma, however for my kids safety and my piece of mind, ill take it. ( I haven't noticed a difference yet) 1080p and it was 49" with a sub $300 price.... Awesome Find!
