Strong Performance

I'm big on not using everything on my wi-fi network and would rather have everything wired in. This boost allows the SONOS system to be to use "less wi-fi", meaning the boost will be wired in and then the SONOS acts as its own network.

It's availability was always unpredictable and overall, unreliable; I often had to reboot/reconnect the device when I wanted to use it (a pain since it is protected from the weather, etc.). But since installing this device over a month ago, the outdoor zone's availability seems to have improved dramatically. (I have been checking its availability several times a week at random, and every time, the Sonos Windows app shows it's available.)

SONOS Transmitter Hub

I do not know how many speakers can be transmitted through just one unit. This has to be hard wired to your router system in order to set up the wireless speaker connections.

Big improvement in range

I had issues with WiFi in one part of my home and was having trouble with a Sonos speaker. I got this to create the dedicated mesh Sonos network and eliminate those issues. It worked perfect and now I can place speakers anywhere. Awesome job again Sonos!
