Replaced Sonos bridge with the new boost. Sonos is much faster grouping and ungrouping zones.

I can't speak to its ability to extend wifi range, but it runs on a dedicated network and does not affect my internet speeds. (which was my concern)

I have a SONOS system and my old MESH system didn't perform up to par. My TV was freezing, all WIFI device connections had one operational quality issue of another. The SONOS Boost resolved ALL issues! Of special note, my home is brick & I understand from friends WiFi is more challenging in a brick home. SONOS BOOST solved that!

This made a big difference in the stability of my Sonos wifi system. Several speakers used to cut in and out. It did not resolve a new problem with the Sub dropping out of the system amd unpairing to the Pbar unfortunately. I suspect that Sonos messed something up with a software update.

Now that the Bridge is no longer being made, the Boost is really your only option. It's worth getting a boost when starting out with SONOS, and will increase performance even if you only have one speaker.

Helped with the sonos disconnecting. It allows the sonos devices to use their own network instead of occupying the WiFi bandwidth.

This item works great to resolve issues that arise in homes with many WiFi connected devices to prevent dropouts. If you don’t have a lot of connections, you won’t need this.

Definite recommend using the boost even through you have good wifi connection. I have two smart phones, two other wireless computers, printer and a TV that uses wifi. The boost sets it own channel .

Was having issues with my speakers dropping off, I have a lot of smart devices connected to my router. Spoke with customer service and they suggest the boost which will at as a port for all the speakers to connect to. Connected the boost, problem was solved, haven’t had any other issues with speakers dropping off line.

I was not sure about the boost, but it really helps keep your Internet humming and does not slow down performance. If you have a few sonos products, best to get this. Not a bad value.

Does what it says it does; creates a stable network for a Sonos mesh that allows you to avoid having to wire in one speaker to initially create the mesh. The network is stable.

The Boost offers great reception in all household types. Adding the Boost allows for Sonos to operate through it's own network within your Wifi network. Never experience a drop in service again.

We are very happy that we purchased this with the Sonos system. This transmitter gives the Sonos system a dedicated wireless stream to the speakers, which keeps the music streaming without any lag.

nice to take the sonos traffic off my main wifi. Needed it to use at my business (and old brick & steel building with terrible wifi). Works quite well. Seamless as all Sonos stuff.

Did great with 8 sonos speakers on my orbi mesh wifi. Added 3 more for another home theater and the app started getting glitchy. Added this boost and now no more problems with app speed or glitches with music playing. Expensive, but setup is a breeze and works amazing just like all my sonos products always have. If you have double digit speakers. This is must.

I have 7 sonos speakers and I was having speakers disconnect from the app. Turns out the speakers don't like wifi extenders. Added the boost and no more issues.

This transmitter is a must if you are looking to get a complete Sonos surround system. I got this so all my Sonos speakers would be in their own network.
