The Sonos BOOST really worked out great. It took the load off of my wireless.

This paired all the speakers and I had no problems, but the soundbar lacked the quality I'd expect, so I returned it.

Transmitter is great. I have a Tri band router but still got the transmitter. Glad I did. Haven't had any problems.

Had issues with no sound from soundbar at least once a week. Loses signal and had to turn off to reset to get back connection to soundbar, sub and surround. After installing this i had no issues. Worth getting

This Sonos-boost gives me the opportunity to really expand my whole house Sonos system. I only have a few speakers now, but will be purchasing more in the future since I have the ability to control them all from one central point and from my iPhone.

The Sonos boost helps keep the Sonos system working together. It is it’s own Sonos network.

I had a lot of issues pairing Sonos speakers in a mesh network. The seamless network hopping in a mesh network works great for most devices but for some reason the Sonos Ones I had were having a hard time pairing together to form a stereo setup. There is only one usecase (realistically) that you need this. That is you have a meshed network and none of the Sonos speakers can be hard wired into this network (connected via LAN cable) If you hard wire any of the new generation Sonos speakers to any internet access point they essentially act as the main router (the same thing boost does). Barring that if stereo pairing is not your usecase, you still don’t need this cause individually the speakers connect fine and work very well. So only buy this if you have trouble getting your speakers to pair or cannot hardline a speaker into your router. Otherwise this is not needed.

It's what makes the Sonos Sound bar and connect amp dance together without it you are out of luck

The Sonos boost has boosted the output of my old wireless router. Very happy. I never lose the connection to my Play 5.

This item works great so now I can listen to my Sonos player thru my other sound system in another room
