Awesome deal and monitor

Got it on an Open Box-Excellent deal, definitely worth that price. Not sure I would pay $900 for it instead of just grabbing an LG C2

Great display for PC and consoles
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great display. The stand is a little wonky, but the picture quality is excellent. My biggest complaint is that the HDMI 2.1 ports max out at 120Hz. DP works at the advertised 144Hz.

Great for PS5 but so many issues with DP on PC

First off, I had no issues with using this monitor with my PS5. The quality was pretty good. I enoyed playing my RPGs on it. So no complaints there. My biggest issue was when it came time to use it on my PC. I purchased a high-end DP cable that could handle the high refresh rate at 4K. Like several others, mines kept flickering to the point where I ended up with a black screen. A couple days later they released an update that seemingly fixed the problem at first as I was no longer at a dead end with the black screen. I slowly started noticing the screen flickering about every 45-60 seconds. For the price I paid I shouldn’t be dealing with these issues. This was the deciding factor for me.

good with some annoying problems.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i finally decided to upgrade my Asus vg289q1a to take advantage of PS5 120hz while playing FPS title mainly COD Cold War. im not going to lie, my old Asus colors pop out more than this monitor but after using it for a few days, i got used to it. Sony said it automatically detect which games you're playing and auto adjust your preset. this is WRONG! i had to turn off the HDR just to use FPS preset. even if i have HDR set to "only when supported" it doesn't let me switch to FPS gaming preset which is so annoying. i have to turn back hdr on and off depending what games im playing. also, i keep getting black screen "scanning for signal" everytime i close my game and open my PS5. i tried different 2.1 HDMI cables and it still persist.. with this price tag is it worth it? i absolutely not. i would've waited a bit longer for them to address its issues. so, if youre planning on getting this monitor, dont get your hopes up.

This may help resolve your issue with the black screen. Please also make sure that all connections are secured.
The INZONE M9’s Preset picture modes are designed to optimize picture quality for specific use cases. Standard, FPS and Cinema preset modes are tuned for overall balanced performance, optimized for FPS games, and for enjoying cinematic content like streaming movies or videos, respectively. For more customized performance, we recommend using Game 1 or Game 2 and turning off HDR to ensure your customized settings are not overridden.
Please note that the available settings differ depending on Preset mode or input signals:
-When the Preset mode is set as Standard, FPS game, or Cinema: Sony provides optimized picture settings by default, and menu items are grayed out, except Brightness, Local Dimming and Aspect Ratio.
-When the Preset mode is set to Game1 or Game 2: Can be adjusted with desired settings. If Eco mode is on, the menu items are grayed out.
-When the input signal is HDR: Only Local Dimming and the Aspect ratio can be set. For additional brightness, contrast and gamma control, please try changing Black Equalizer setting from 0 – 3, under the Gaming Assist menu.

If you set the Local dimming to Low or Off, this may cause the whole screen to look washed out. You may try turning off Auto picture mode to resolve the issue. To ensure the best picture quality, please make sure all devices are up-to-date on software and HDMI settings are set to the highest quality output from your gaming system. Picture quality being subjective may vary depending on your preferences. Please use the picture mode on the M9 menu screen to find the quality that best suits your needs. You may also adjust picture quality in the picture Adjustment menu area as well. The INZONE M9’s Preset picture modes are designed to optimize picture quality for specific use cases. Standard, FPS and Cinema preset modes are tuned for overall balanced performance, optimized for FPS games, and for enjoying cinematic content like streaming movies or videos, respectively. It looks amazing on games, horizon 5 and cyberpunk….if you have a strong enough PC…I can’t even describe how amazing that looked lol. The stand is “okay” it wobbles a bit, if u bump ur desk or somethin it’ll kinda wobble a tiny bit. It’s a solid stand though, very sturdy. As for PS5 it’s perfect you just plug in your HDMI and that’s it, looks perfect. I have 0 complaints.

I had a a quarter of the backlight go out on it. This Sony seems ok. So far no dead pixels. BUT I have the newest firmware M010, and the monitor will not wake from sleep. If my computer is off and I power on, monitor will not wake. If monitor turns off while computer is on, it will not wake. Its connected to a PC via DP connection. I use a up to date Nvidia 2080Ti on a Win11. But the whole wake from sleep is driving me crazy. You have to turn off/on the monitor to power it on and see a picture. Firmware update is crazy. You need to use both the DP and a old style USB-A to USB-B cord. Like what old windows USB printers used.
