They work well in my living room with my Onkyo 5100 and with my Pioneer Elite in my home theater. I recommend these speakers very highly.

Sony Or Polk Audio?

I bought four of these and a center speaker for my Sony STR-DH790 7.1 Receiver. They work great in my space and the sound is wonderfully inviting. I use them as part of a 5.1.2 pattern. Gaming sound is amazing. I heard things I couldnt on my old system such as crackling fire and the swoosh of fabric. I would buy them again! They are great and affordable.
