If the TV tuner built into this box was better I would have kept it. Now seeing that most TV tuners are bad, I wish I would have kept this Sony. The remote control didn't have very many options, so I would have to replace that; otherwise, it was a great TV.

Bedroom 42” Sony OLED

Outstanding bright color and great sound. I thought that I might need a sound bar but Sony put quality speakers in this OLED model.very satisfied with the upgrade to OLED.

Exceptional Service and Quality TV

They guided me to the best option for my living room. I have large windows that the tv actually faces and there is no glare! Exceptional picture quality! Worth every penny. I also purchased the in home set up and five year service plan. The Geek Squad guys delivered it, set it up quickly. They were professional and very friendly. I’m extremely pleased with my purchase and the all around excellent service I received in the store and at delivery and set up.

A Very Good Moderate-sized Television

It's hard to find this size of television, for those who prefer not to have a very large screen, but still want an ample viewing area.

Great TV for smaller rooms

Fits small room perfectly without dominating space. Crystal clear image, brilliant color and surprisingly good sound system even without external sound bar. Excellent acquisition.

This is very bright. can see it clear eventhough there is a window next to it. Also the audio is lot better than the 80" TV i have in our media room.

XR processor A+! Remote lights up, no VRR needed

Makes Xbox Series X optimized games pop! LG C2? lol get out of here! Game mode on, contrast enhance low, black level auto low, luminance low, HDR off (HDR is a scam), sRGB color with Live Color low, and you won't need a new TV until 203X. Don't even need VRR enabled on Xbox which makes the picture lag. VRR off ZERO tearing on Gears 5, Halo 5, or any 4k 120hz games. Bonus: it has a gaming reticle option. Really helps my newb in Gears shotgun fights.

Stellar Picture Quality

Fantastic picture. I've been a Sony TV fan for decades and this one does not disappoint. It was much more complicated to setup than the nine year old Sony KDL-40W600B it replaced. Now, I can watch Disney+, MGM+ and Max in my home office, which is where I spend the majority of my awake time. Finally, a TV with the picture quality comparable to the old plasma screen TVs.

Great television

Mine is wall mounted and should have two people to do that. Set weighs about 35 lbs. Solid remote that works with all modern Sony's.

Great for PC gaming

I use it strictly for PC gaming compared to the popular LG C2 or Samsung equivalent. I've always found Sony to have better motion handling, and between having all 3 of the big name offers I settled on the Sony also due in part to it having better brightness than the C2 at peak. I also went from 48" to 42" due to the pixel density. Sitting within 3 feets of the screen does have a noticeable difference in how crisp the image is, though both sizes are phenomenal. It also has very passable speakers if you don't have a set of external speakers.

Awesome TV

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It was time to upgrade my 10-year-old 40” LED flatscreen TV and needed one that was better, but was able to fit in my old entertainment unit without having to get rid of it & spend more money on a new one. I was torn between the Sony & LG, which were the only companies made a TV in OLED & was able to fit the dimensions of my entertainment unit. I ended up picking the Sony 42” OLED. It is the perfect size, great picture, sound is better (eventually will add a sound bar later), & of course, way better features than my old TV.

Straight out of the box i loved how easy it was to set up and to connect my soundbar to the tv and ive been enjoying every single moment since I’ve bought it! Amazing colors amazing interface and features that come along with the tv. I just wished i wouldve waited for them to go on sale but with Idalia closing everything around ive spent hours watching movies and shows and enjoyed being at home with my Sony!!!!
