Don’t buy for the apps…

I like everything about it except for the apps they can’t seem to stay online. Bummer.. Good thing i already have a roku and what do you know…. has no connection issues.

Gaps, with the screen light coming through. Great picture quality tho, but for $600 I just had to get my $ back cause of them bezel gaps..

It is very bright and has excellent image quality. I mostly use it for my PS5. It supports all the low latency stuff, with a high refresh rate. I have an Xbox series x also hooked up to it and it looks great on here too. I haven't watched many things on here, but the high quality stuff from Disney looks incredible on here. The HDR movies which are usually dark on my other Samsung TV are nice and bright and colorful on the Sony. I would probably take off half a point for the slightly narrow viewing angle. The speakers are just okay. But most of the gaming is done with headphones anyway, so it doesn't matter. But for movie watching I would recommend a sound bar or something.

Probably best TV for a PS5

You will need to change the HDMI settings for your inputs though, it's not plug and play. I got the PS5 input set to "Enhanced format (VRR) and it allows all the settings to be turned on in the PS5 input menu. I got my streaming box set to Enhanced format because I don't have a dolby vision speaker(s). The TV will auto change from "game mode (VRR)" to media when it detects it. The picture is mind blowing for media and gaming, well worth the price. The only con I can think of is not having a swivel stand included.

Excellent As An Outdoor Television

I made the mistake of "going cheap" since it's going to be out in the elements and as a result, I ended up with a TCL which had so much glare and so little brightness that it was basically useless in that environment. Why have a TV on your deck if you can't even see the picture, right? On the other hand, I wasn't ready to spend the $1,500 - $3,000 for a TV that would be outside all the time and only used a couple dozen times a year. This Sony TV fit the bill perfectly for my high-sunlight deck. No, it doesn't have an anti-glare screen, but no problem. The colors are so bright and can be adjusted to a 'vivid' setting so you can see everything clearly even in full daylight. I watch daytime baseball games on it reguarly. To be clear, it's not a weatherproof TV so you will need to cover it and protect it from the elements if used outdoors. Seems obvious, but sometimes the obvious needs to be stated. PROS Amazing high definition crystal clear picture Excellent sound quality which also helps in outdoor environments Excellent OS and App choice Integrates with my Google Home and Apple Homekit products Super easy set-up The best TV I've found for around $500 (about half the price of newer comparable models) Can optimize the Refresh Rate for Sony PS2 and other game systems 120Hz Refresh Rate (vs. 60Hz on many other models) Direct Lit (as opposed to Edge Lit) CONS Some find the picture too bright for darker rooms Standard LED rather than OLED which limits viewing angles Not officially an outdoor TV so will need to be covered and protected from the elements Not many cons I can think of overall

A potent little TV

Upscaling from older movies does really well too. A lot of times I am surprised this TV offers so much for such a little price. Gaming is exceptional and with the VRR enabled, the Xbox Series X console does play at a full 4k 120Hz. One of the issues I found after gaming is the picture mode will get stuck on Game unless you switch to another input before watching Netflix, USB, etc. The way around the glitch is to select Home then go to the the apps so you get your selection of picture modes back.

This TV has served me well for years now and is amazing. 4 HDMI ports, beautiful picture quality, great sound, overall a perfect TV. The refresh rate is amazing and is great for gaming. I've had 4 generations of consoles hooked up from PS2 to Xbox Series X (some using HDMI converters) and they have all played beautifully. No input lag, no screen tearing. There is not a 3.5mm jack though, so if your sound system requires it, try a different model. The remote is perfect for smaller hands and even larger hands. My boyfriend has an older Bravia with a larger remote and despite his large hands, he ordered himself a matching remote because he loved the feel and look. The google TV OS is smooth and apps run without issues.

Great picture quality (may have to tweak picture and other settings after initial setup), great sound from the internal speakers, ease of setup (helps if you already have a google account) and great value. Speaking of great value, I bought this tv as an open-box item in excellent condition. The only reason it came back as that the first buyers couldn’t get the back of the tv to pair up with their existing wall mount. Go figure. So other than that everything else about the tv and accessories (still packaged) was brand new! Their loss was my gain as I saved $143.00 off of the retail price. Always consider open-box items as a go-to value. Bought several items that way and haven’t been disappointed.

I use it for PC gaming. The colors look amazing, didn't need the HDR function for PC gaming. Only con is the lack of local dimming.
