In the end, it was Sony's Full Array Local Dimming that made the difference. It makes the blacks much deeper, giving really good contrast. It was easy to set up & has lots of connection options. We have a Sony in the Living Room & I am not in love with the Android Smart TV function, so the ethernet port was not a huge selling point for us. Went with a Roku Ultra, instead. We are very happy with this purchace.
