Oh how I miss my Plasma TV’s So the consumer never understood plasma and voted in favor of LCD/LED. Such a shame but it’s the world we live in. This is my first LCD/OLEd TV. I had no choice. My Pioneer Kuro Plasma kicked the bucket, then I got a Samsung Plasma. It too kicked the bucket. Both from $.50 cent compactors going out in the power supply board. Note, I still have both of them, stashed and bonder everyday to bust out the soldering iron and replace the bad caps. So what’s the problem? This top of the line Sony OLED, just like all of the other TV’s in the world suffer from motion problems. It is so unnatural. If this is the best that is on offer, why are we always going backward? So I’m supposed to get used to this? No wonder everyone has cut the cord, stopped watching TV. These screens suck when it comes to motion. I’m watching through regular cable and also through Apple TV+ being streamed for 4K. They both have motion problems. It is so unnatural. I’ve tried all the settings, still it is no way near what plasma offered. Seriously, track down a used plasma TV, get the capacitors replaced by a tv/audio tech, and live a happy life. The only cool thing about this TV is the remote the android TV interface which is why I’m giving it three stars. Please bring back Plasma…and America, you need to check your head.

I was about to buy a 65 inch TV for $500 (I did in fact and got it refunded before pickup). It seems an amazing deal. Then I read Consumer Reports and saw this Sony was top-rated. After more research I understood the $500 set would not hold a candle to this one. The picture is outstanding. The sound is way above average sets. I am very pleased with this set. Pricey, but seems worth it.

Picture is sharp enough to see facial hairs and skin texture on closeups. Auto brightness works well to have the best picture any time of day or night. Sound is better than my 4-year old Bravia 850 but a soundbar is still needed for the theater sound experience. Best Buy had a promotional sale price that I could not pass up.

I have been looking at this Sony OLED for some time but it was too expensive for me. When the price went down and you only had 2 left in my region, I bought it. The Geek Squad installed it and I am in love with the TV. The picture just pops, it is the right size for the room I have it in and the sound is excellent. I partially buy from you because of the Geek Squad. They are excellent installers who perfect the picture and are very pleasant.

So far this television has the best picture quality of any television we have ever owned. I wish it had 3D like an older Sony we still have, but it has IMAX format available instead. I hope it’s as reliable as our other Sonys have been. This is a 2019 model and the newest model costs more. That one has 8K available but there are no 8K broadcasts and the newer set costs more.

There is lots to commend about the quality of the TV, echoed by others regarding the picture, sound, and overall esthetics. The only negative feedback is that the TV receiver for the signal from the remote is on the bottom right corner. If you display the TV on a stand that is higher than the chairs in front of it, you have to hold the remote up and aim it at the right angle for the channel to change. Were it mounted to a wall, it would be perfect.

This is the tv I've been waiting for. This is the tv that can grow with the tech. Great sound and color.

picture quality outstanding. Help button made a big difference with some initial problems Packaging protected the product nicely. This is the second TV as first had major picture issues that Sony engineers tried to fix over a weeks time but with no success. Best buy exchanged the TV is a fast and efficient manor. Geek team very interested with product problem (had videos of the intermittent problem). Glad I bought at Best Buy.

Over all this TV is very good. It was packaged well and easy to unbox. Hook up was challenging as we have a Sony BluRay player and Denon receiver. The only issue we continue to have is freezing of the picture and sound and lack of sound via the receiver when we change applications. Sony support was not helpful as they simply told us to unplug everything and plug it back in. Denon was more helpful, but says it is a syncing issue that Sony should be able to fix. Picture - Excellent. Sound - Excellent even through TV speakers. Settings can be challenging. Also, we had to upgrade our internet service to stream without buffering issues.
