The Bravia 8 is replacing my eight year- old Bravia 4K HD, which still works great (Sony quality). The B-8’s picture is extremely vivid and accurate. It’s in a relatively bright room but the colors still hold up. The audio is great too as you can enhance it for speech, which makes dialog easier to hear. Well worth the price compared to other similar units.

Great tv poor service

This is the first time I ever bought a tv without seeing it in person. I went by reviews and specs and was not disappointed. Now on the downside. I had a delivery lined up in January for a certain time between 1 and 5. After 6 then 6:30 then 7. Nothing!! No phone calls no nothing. I found out the next day that the truck broke down… I understand things happen but no phone call! Then I had to reschedule for two weeks later. I’m in the situation of needing another tv but I’m having second thoughts of purchasing from Best Buy. Oh I was also told I would be getting a gift or discount but haven’t heard a word…

Bargain of a great tv

Right off the bat, the Google operating system is significantly faster than the Samsung interface. The picture quality is obviously much better. Just a great upgrade and glad I decided to go with Sony.

Why Switch?

I did some research and decided to get a Samsung but, when I was in the store and saw the Samsung and a new Sony Bravia side by side, the Sony looked like a better picture to me. I mulled it over and thought "the Sony has been very good to me, why am I considering switching brands". I've had the tv for a few weeks now and I am very happy.

Amazing TV as expected from Sony

The OLED screen is bright in indirect sunlight and the picture quality is the quality you would expect from Sony. I compared this to the LG C4 in store and preferred the Bravia. There is also plenty of smart TV features and the apps are integrated well into the main OS of the TV. I’m very happy with this purchase and recommend it if you are in the market for this size / panel type.

I came from a 46inch Panasonic plasma and I thought it was great. This TV blows it out of the water. It’s absolutely beautiful exspecially when I watch things on my Apple TV. Cable TV is great but it really shows its stuff when you watch movies and shows in UHD and 4K on Apple TV. Picture and colors are so true and clear as a bell. I highly suggest this tv for your enjoyment

The picture is so clear and crisp. I have a PS5 and a Nintendo Switch, and both systems look great on the TV. The TV sound is good on its own, but I am glad that I still have my soundbar.

I knew OLED would be less bright, but I really wanted the blacks to look black. Horror movies, dark dramas, and space movies are amazing! Sound, color, clarity are fantastic. I purchased this in Aug. 2024. I had an old 2007 Sony TV that still works great but I needed a smart TV. I cannot believe all the free channels we received with purchase and after the upgrade we received more. I am very happy with the quality, purchased a wall mount for the tv and not a problem getting it up there. I have other Sony items which I still use, had in the past, and have never failed me in performance, longevity, and quality. I would recommend this to anyone.
