The tv is totally worth it i love everything about it especially for gaming it has alof of settings to play with to make your game experience even better! The movies look so cripsy and clean and you will always want to rewatch it bc of the graphics. BUY IT!!!

The resolution of this TV is great. There is no glare even with light in the room. It is also easy to mount on the wall.

Good picture but the tv turns off constantly on its own. Have no idea why.
Thank you for your feedback on the BRAVIA 8 TV! We're glad you love the picture quality but sorry to hear about the auto shut-off issue. There could be a few reasons why your BRAVIA 8 is shutting off unexpectedly. In the meantime, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. Check TV Settings: If the TV turns on or off at regular intervals, check the settings for timers and auto power features. Disable the On timer or Timer settings. Disable the TV auto power on setting in BRAVIA Sync settings or HDMI CEC Settings.
2. If you're using a cable box connected via HDMI, please turn off BRAVIA Sync or consider using a CEC-less HDMI cable or adapter to prevent the TV from rebooting or restarting. To di this, press the (Quick Settings) button and select Settings → Channels & Inputs → External inputs → BRAVIA Sync settings→ turn OFF BRAVIA Sync control.
3. Additionally, please disable the Samba Interactive TV feature. You can do this by pressing the (Quick Settings) button on your remote, then navigating to Settings → System → Samba Interactive TV, and turning it off.
Make sure your software is up to date by going to Settings > System > About > System Software Update. Also, check the power cable and outlet connections. If the problem persists, please share how long the TV stays on or if it shuts off during specific apps.

Love the Sony Bravia and the ability to stream when we want.
Using with a Sony sound bar.
But have an issue: if we connect to my receiver there is no sound from live TV. I would expect a Sony TV to work with a Sony receiver.
