Was looking for a tv with a built-in tuner to receive local channels. The sales girl said Definitely will receive them on this tv. We bought a 4k Samsung 65 inch one 3 years ago and it is still great but didn't want to be forced to get Spectrum. Well they set up tv and said i needed a ota antenna to get local channels. Went Back to Get the new antenna and it Still doesn't get local channels. Called Sony and they said it should get them. Well its a good tv but wouldn't have bought it for 2k if i knew it would not get local channels. Had to get Spectrum and not very Happy with that!

ATSC technology is backwards compatible for BRAVIA 8 series TVs, so you will still be able to enjoy ATSC 1.0 technology with this ATSC 3.0 supported TV.
If you believe that certain local channels are not appearing, after doing the scan, antenna rotation or re-positioning may be needed to increase received signal strength. The television is great, but I have one problem, the wifi keeps cutting out a lot, otherwise it's fine

The display was clear and the sound was good, but the motion was strange on this one even after trying to adjust the settings. We exchanged for a different model.

Have had several Sony TVs in past. This one has a good picture but store displays in 4k which we don’t get at home-so disappointed. Expected dark scenes to be brighter than on our old TV-and we’re on max brightness. We had some problems getting this one to work with our Bose sound system & lips weren’t synched at times. Re-starting the TV several times helped.

“Premium” price, dollar-store reliability

Paid a small fortune for this Sony TV because it’s supposed to be a premium brand. What I actually got was a glorified wall decoration.
After barely a year, the speakers started acting up, and soon after that the TV just stopped turning on altogether. No warning, no accident, no misuse — it just gave up on life.
Naturally, Sony’s support was about as helpful as unplugging it and plugging it back in (yes, I tried that). Their solution? Basically “too bad, you’re on your own.” For a TV that costs this much, that’s impressive in the worst possible way.
So now I get the privilege of fixing it myself or tossing an “expensive premium TV” into the trash. Fantastic design philosophy: charge top dollar, then disappear when it fails right after warranty.
If you’re shopping at Best Buy and considering Sony — don’t. Unless you enjoy paying extra for brand names, broken speakers, dead TVs, and DIY repair projects.
Hard pass. Never again.

This TV is the best on the market right now. OLED is far superior to QLED and all the other features are superior.
